Quoting baddl, reply 15 I will never understand the mindset of people who suggest that serious bugs (and nuisances, for that matter) need not be fixed because there are (obvious but tedious) workarounds. ("Obvious" after you reload the savegame and try again.) Even a game should not waste our time.Fixing bugs probably should attack the problem from two sides: (1) Fix the easy things immediately. (2) Acknowledge harder p
So IMO you can go all champions if you want
And you would be CORRECT. But, we have MIN/MAXERS in these games that THINK you have to play OPTIMALLY to gain victory which is WRONG. I see them do this in MMO's as well. Somebody comes along with a COOKIE CUTTER build that CLAIMS there's nothing better and the LEMMINGS flock to it like flies
Question: Did you start a BRAND NEW GAME after the patch or did you try to play an OLD SAVE?
You can queue up a pioneer and it will subtract the population, and then cancel it later and it will give you the 30 population back, even putting you over your food cap (which lets you cheat).
So, DON"T CHEAT solves that problem an issue. :) Also in Civilization III & IV they solved the city spamming problem by increasing the amount o
The screen saver one is easy to fix "TURN IT OFF" lol
Spell Earthquake is very cheap and devastating.
So just don't use it. Simple enough fix. ;)
It makes sense to you that by waiting one more turn for the effect to wear off in battle before dealing killing blow you keep all your movement points? Why if you're poisoned/blinded/withered at the end of battle you aren't still so after battle? This is clearly a bug. Oh, and a game turn is an entire season, 3 months, far more than 24 hours, so ya even waiting 24 hours or several weeks for the spider webs to come off should still
I remember the ai in Rome Total War was like that. They'd come to me to make peace because I was stomping the crap out of them and they'd give me 10000 denari and the very next turn they would declare war on me again. This became repetitive until they were broke and I'd have 100,000 denari in my coffers. Carthage was easily exploited by this as I'd make peace and then blockade their ports the next turn and then they'd give me 10000 de
3. Finishing a battle while rooted (web) removes all movement points after battle. So if you have 5 MP and attack a spider on a plain and finish while webbed you'll be at 0 instead of 4.
Just because the battle is over doesn't mean you became unrooted. So, you lose the whole turn of movement if you become rooted. ;) Makes sense to me h
The ability or option to watch the ai fight itself in battles. The ability or option to set the ai aggression levels an allow them more alliances with one another. A totally impossible difficulty setting so these snot nosed brats can't come running to the forums bragging about how they beat it. ;) The ability to se

Yes, you should get this game NOW! It's the 2nd best turn based fantasy game next to MOM (Master of Magic). It's not quite there yet with Galactic Civilization 2 but, I'm sure Brad will make it so. Join the fun, get in on the forum speak. ;)
AOW:SM was soooooooooooo BAD even the developers and publisher ABANDONED it. Nuff said. :)
GFireflyE- Oblivion was amazing, easily one of the best video games ever made. Morrowind's story was by the far the best. Overall, though, Skyrim is probably the best overall game of the three in terms of general quality. But how can I fault you for preferring Oblivion when it was so good? Don't you guys know by now it's the AV developers who write these viruses forcing you to buy their products. Doesn't it amaze you how FAST they write a virus fix after a socalled virus is detected? Making them look all good and great. lmao. If you BUY a virus protection/removal program you are just throwing your money away. I've been running without a paid one for almost 20 years now and have only gotten one issue that a small FREE program like
Kewlness glad to know more SINGLE SOLO Player content is coming soon. ;) Love this game! Love Stardock! Keep up the good work. Stay the cause and all that stuff. ;)
(I know at least 6 more people I know would buy FE if it had working multiplayer.)
Yeah yeah blah blah typical generalized statement just like I know 100 people who BOUGHT this game because of SOLO play being more important than multiplayer play. It has no value to me that you know 6 people that would buy to play multiplayer. There's also no real value in WASTING resources for a handful of people who would play multiplayer. MOST publishers tac on a multip
Besides, Stardock have been pretty clear that catering to the multiplayer crowd really isn't viable for their profit (and thus the long-term goals of the franchise).
And if your a smoker forget about it, This game will make you chain smoke 2 packs a night.
Lol I remember that when I used to smoke and did that too. I quit 7 years ago though and it feels good not to get up coughing and hacking and spitting up yuck. lol Well I wouldn't go so far as to say it ruined my ability to go back to TROPICO as I still love that game. I think this would be a great optional idea for difficulty levels above normal. A "REVENGE" option given to the AI when the human player wins. The next game he/she plays gives a few more bonuses to the AI and also make the AI MORE AGGRESSIVE to the human player each time he/she wins until they lose, then it resets itself. It would also have the ai's as the human player wins to be more likely the ALLY with its
Quoting willie sanderson, reply 13 Cmon now how hard is it to make an AI that will STOMP us humans? In terms of raw processing power, modern computers are dumber than insects. We rely on human insight to turn their capabilities into something useful, but ultimately that use is still a reflection of human understanding. In other words: this is hard. You ever notice that in just about ALL games now there are threads about how bad the AI is? Why do we keep buying these products when of course we can see they AI's aren't getting enough love when creating these games. Why are graphics so damn important? Why is the UI so damn important when the AI is crap and the game becomes not worth buying or playing anyways? We should boycott games until they finally make a decent AI. It's as bad as gamers buying games knowing that there
