Hm, it may have gotten broken in our recent server move. Still works for me though since I've got all our sites in my hostfile. Sorry for the confusion.
I believe on the regular stardock/impulse site they have a post about that. Pinned even, I remember running accross it on my own looking for something completely unrelated.
Right here . Just hit the "PREORDER" link next to Elemental on that thread (there is no actual TGN page for it, that link goes straight to the "buy with money or tokens?" page).
I'm pretty sure Brad has commented in the past that it's not a direct se/prequel, but it does use a lot of the same characters and plot elements. Sort of in the GalCiv "multiverse" in the same manner as the stories he wrote, but not directly related to the game. That's just on my own foggy recollection though so I could be wrong.
We do not charge preorders until a beta (or for those who order after the last beta for a game, the final) is made available to you. So right now, the most you will have is a 24-48 hour hold placed for the amount, though hold policies vary from bank to bank. Until it is actually processed, your order is simply waiting in the queue. In order to use a prepaid card, you will need to have a sufficient balance for the preorder when the time for the beta to begin arrives (late spring or ear
you can only get the 1080p outputed resolution with the 360 elite
Untrue. All models now have HDMI output (the elite just comes with a cable included).
im no pro in specs and all but wat i do no is that, xbox has had quite a few issues with it (one being the red ring of death or wateva its called).
The major RRoD issue was resolved last year, and all machines built since then using the 175W PSU (or lower) don't have it. Granted, there might be other issues, but I've had none with the one I got in late summer. As others have said, your cousin was probably putting it in a very poorly ventilated area; if there truly were
lol ... my point was ... FF series has always been exclusive for PS.
Not exactly. Prior to FF7 they were Nintendo exclusives. FF7 and FF8 were both on PC in addition to PS, and FF11 (granted, not exactly a normal FF game) is multiplatform. So really, the only Sony exclusives in the mainline series have been 9, 10, 10-2, and 12. There are also a number of side-series in the franchise on non-Sony systems.
Situation: I'm excited I finally got the SATA HD installed after waiting for the power cable to come in the mail. I'm now trying to install Windows XP SP1. During the process, XP asks me for SATA drivers on a 3.5" floppy disk. Problem: I don't have a 3.5" floppy drive.
That's where the aforementioned slipstreaming comes in. Both my desktop and my laptop I've done that way, with no floppies at all. Though granted I did try an external floppy on the laptop at f
Hmmm. My Impulse had some problems. Now I ordered it 5 times... Hopyfully, this can be undone.
If you made accidental orders, contact to cancel them.
One of the datacenters was having issues yesterday evening.
It was eight years ago. It's my understanding that most schools (at least in this area) go by the ACT instead now. In any case I ended up getting where I got based on grades and class rank more than test scores. If only money grew on trees, I might have bothered applying to MIT myself. My dad got accepted back in the late 70s based on his SAT score (which I beat, even accounting for the recentering) but he couldn't afford to go either.
Tokens are only available singly via sales if you have some but not enough to buy the thing you want to finish them off.
Ah, I'd read that as practice SAT. If it's just 1/10 though then, unless they've changed the difficulty of the test really radically in the past few years, those scores are pretty good. Though whether you can get anything purely based on them is another question; there wasn't much as that goes, back when I did the SAT--did it only to find that Notre Dame was the nearby only school that even cared about it.
Good find, guys. I've passed this on to Cari so she can look into why the game is not catching that (it should default to English if no langauge is set).
The great majority of people still buy at retail (and those who buy ONLY on Steam to the complete exclusion of all other venues are an incredibly small portion of the market), so no, it wouldn't be the massive boon to use Steam as some seem to think. As well, do consider the loss that abandoning Impulse would cause us (mind you it's a store too), and the reputation damage we'd suffer in the DRM fight from going to Steam, which is a more restrictive system. Either way, it's all
If you only just preordered, then it's probably just a hold and will disappear after 24-48 hours.
Direct-order boxes ship as soon as we get them made, yes (though international shipping can take a week or two). Downloads are available immediately at launch, regardless where you're at. I'm not sure what we've got planned with Elemental as far as international retail distribution goes, at this point. AFAIK we're going through Atari this time for Demigod in Europe and Asia, which should give us more control and flexibility than distributors past. If that goes well then I'd expect to
I've yet to see GalCiv2 in most stores I know, and I still have never seen the Dark Avatar or Twilight of the Arnor expansions.
GC2 came and went back around its initial release. However, there is a new Kalypso release of DA+TA and of DL+DA+TA now at retail in Europe.
Either way, the big issue is getting the pathing to handle these sorts of "shortcuts" effectively and efficiently.
Do keep in mind, there are advantages of having it the way it is, like easily being able to identify users regardless of the site you're on. But given that everything else about accounts is global, I don't see this changing anyway.
Heart!
Go planet?
The game is planned to have a scripting engine, though at this point it's still too early to tell exactly what it will allow for.
I assume digital is about the same cost as retail (if you buy retail you still have to pay Shipping and Handling fees) because uploading gigs of data isn't free to do.
Not so much that as that if we charged the same as retail (stores tend to sell $5-10 under our MSRP), the stores would get fussy about it. Alas, we don't have the business muscle of Valve/EA to get them to sell our stuff anyway, so we've got to keep them happy.
I'd imagine (completely uninformed-like) the spellbooks would be based on what element/alignment you choose, independent of civ.
