The Intel 945 chipset doesn't meet the game's minimum requirement of DirectX 9.0c compatible video, and what feature support it does have for shaders is emulated through software. It's possible that there is a newer driver than 2009 available from Intel for it that may help, but otherwise it's likely you'll need to play on a machine with better graphics capability.

While all of this makes some amount of intuitive sense I still wonder why the ability to change your email was explicitly removed from bein

Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and link the contents into a post here. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem. The file can be found in My Documents\My Games\Elemental Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug log will be erased and recreated for the new session.

Do you have the correct video drivers installed? DirectX is reporting that you have Intel integrated graphics, not a GeForce.
So what I am gathering by all this is that it is illegal to use your cell phone as a WiFi hot spot then? If you're paying for a data plan on the phone, no.
Illegal, no, however it is generally a TOS violation and can get you terminated if you don't have an appropriate plan which allows tethering or hotspot functionality. Some providers prohibit tethering altogether even if you are paying for unlimited data (it makes it much easier to reach "excessive"

Since it'd be just one solid piece it could basically just be made as a multilayer PCB to get the properly reversed pin-out on the backside.
This is how it should have been done in the first place!
I'm not so sure having a spring pressing against the (often loose) sockets at all times would be that helpful. Each set of contacts would also need to be wired separately so the pinout properly matches, and such wiring would be subject to a lot of wear due to the constant flexing on every insertion.

The game's minimum requirement is a Geforce 6800. As the FX5500 is significantly below that (1/4 to 1/3 the throughput at best), it's unlikely to be very playable at all, if it even runs, sorry.

Not entirely sure why you revived your own year old thread, but...
it would be great if elemental supported a borderless window mode
It always has. Simply set the game to windowed mode at your desktop resolution.
The system had not run out of memory; not even close.
As a 32 bit program, Elemental can only address 2GB at most, regardless of how much the system physically has. Patching in LAA support increases that limit to 3 or 4GB, depending on the OS. The limits are the same for any 32 bit program.
