I believe last night's update adds the ability to toggle the tactical grid, via Ctrl+G (same shortcut for the main map).

Try updating those video drivers, they're a year old. If nVidia doesn't offer any for your laptop, try laptopvideo2go.com.
What sort of mice/drivers are you using? We solved this previously on our setups, but if you're still seeing this, you should be able to fix it by using the hardware cursor option while we look into it further.

Just clicking on the existing text should get you a text cursor, so you can erase it and enter your own.

The ProgramData folder is one made by windows, it'll use that location for temporary stuff regardless where the game is installed.

This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem. The file can be found in [b]My Documents\My Games\Elemental[/b] Be sure to copy the debug [b]immediately after the error occurs[/b]; if you start the game again, the debug log will be erased and recreated for the new session.
Minor races' cities can't grow, but it should now indicate that on the population bar.

It's going by .3 (.25 rounded) for me. Try toggling the localized data option in the settings and starting again.
Make sure you've cleared out your My Documents\My Games\Elemental folders of any beta files.
There should be a farmable tile and a crystal node right between the two iron ores.

Wages are based on training cost. It's displayed in the unit training popup along with the other stats.
Dell should have some newer ones available. If not, you'll need to search intel's website.
Your current moves are listed right under "Vitals" in the left side of the UI.
