No changes were made that I'm aware of, so if you're having this issue please post a save and we can check if it's a build radius issue as noted by #1.

This should be resolved in the weekend hotfix, though it will only be available if you were not using the multiplayer beta build (hotfix should be available for that later today).

Disabling auto-end turn in the options should prevent this. There is currently an issue where it can run when all units are garrisoned, rather than only triggering when you have units out and they've all moved.
If you see this happen and reload the last autosave, does it reproduce?
Are you getting a message that you can't take any more quests, or do the huts just fail to trigger?
Please post the debug.err file anyway so we can examine it for any clues.
This debug.err seems to not be from the same crash, as there's no tactical battle at the end. Please make sure to copy it right away without starting the game back up, as it gets rewritten each time you run the game.
Does it make any difference if you disable stylized lighting in the options?
Did you find this to be a mod issue? Others have reported similar.
Using the city build zoom mode should prevent this from happening while we work to resolve the issue.

Are you closing and reopening the build menu, or leaving it open while getting the goodie hut?

Imagebin does not appear to be working currently, but your video card is a generation below the game's minimum requirements. You might try updating your drivers if you're having issues, but we can't guarantee full compatibility as it may lack some shader functions the game requires.
If you're seeing no spell effects at all, even unmodded, check that you don't have particles disabled in the options. Otherwise, please post your debug.err file on pastebin.ca and link it here.

It's getting stuck before trying to load the XML, so it's likely something got corrupted. Try a clean reinstall via Impulse.
