I've gotten a "stardock has encountered a problem and needs to close" notice several times. When I tried to do the "Restore Existing"... This is what I got(see pic) and I don't know what to do with it. How do I make sure I've got the correct SDC version?

#1. Click on my name, please, is that what you needed? #2. Yes, I tried WB before I bought it. #3. I have a "sygate Firewall" but, I have everything related to WinCustomize on "always allow". #4. File path to WB is C:. program files> stardock> object desktop> windowblinds (which is slightly different from my "Browser" path. #5. I'm not sure if #1 answers #5 as well.

Gary- Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I uploaded a pic if you click on my name. I can't get it to open regardless of what I do. I tried double clicking, right clicking, open with WB.....nothing works.

Hi 1/4 Crazy Travis- Perhaps I should have been more clear. I know they don't disappear but it seems logical to me that if one has certain advantages when paying it would be easier to view the ratings when logged in rather than more difficult because one is a paying member. The only reason I make that comment is because before I purchased anything I could view the ratings whether I was logged in or not. I'm not really upset about the ratings... it just seems like it would be the other wa

Hi all- I'm having a problem downloading again. I cannot download unless I do it through my "WC Browser". Furthermore, the skins downloaded with the browser do not show up on my "WB Config", nor in "skin studio" if I have to alter something. I am a level 4 user. Not only can I not download but as soon as I sign in the ratings disappear. This has been an ongoing problem since summer. Someone helped me straighten it out before but it's happening again and it's getting to be a real nui

Hi 1/4CrazyTravis & Crissy14- You guys sure are brave around here....cause I REALLY don't know the first thing about all this. The task seems daunting and you may live to regret the words "we can talk you through it", but if you guys are willing I'd love to try. I know what import means and I know what the "skin studio" is but I have no clue what a "button widget" is. Question about.... in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

Hi all- I like to have the "quick launch icons" in "button style" and I usually look for that when choosing a skin. So my question is.....is there a way to put the buttons for the quick launch icons on skins I like that don't have it. In other words is there a way for me to alter that feature? I'm not a skin designer....obviously...so if there is please explain like I'm a five year old. Thanks.

Question about the bro... in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

I just started using my Wincustomize Browser lately and today I downloaded a "suite" with no problem but when I hit apply this is what I got: "suites is not currently supported"...... I thought you could apply everything from the browser. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Keila, Crissy14- OK I got as far as you can see on the pic (click on my name). Now where it says "Translucent"; it won't let me do anything, but the "Transparent" button will let me put a check on it.... so I'm not really sure what to do next. Am I looking at the right buttons... to uncheck or check?

Hi all- Please help...I am using "Christmas 2" windowblinds, but for some odd reason the "change user" and "Log off" buttons are missing!! Click on my name and you can see what I'm talking about..... This is only happening with this skin. I really like the skin and would like to keep using it...... any suggestions? Thanks!
