I can not get manual stacking to work at all. if units fall out of a stack I get the stack tab and see multiple groups but I cant figure out how to regroup them when they are on the same tile. I have to move them off the tile and back into the tile for them to auto-stack. I appear to be able to get an unlimited number of units in a single stack. I have also had trouble with what I think is a selected stack and right clicking to attack a group of enemies only to have a single unit from the stack

I would also like to say kudos to the team as I also find 3c to be significantly more stable than all the other beta revs that I have run.

It appears that all armor bought in item shop that is from defense research can not be equipped by any unit. When attempting to equip the armor piece the error dialog 'Can't Equip Leather Helm doesn't fit this unit'. It does use the correct name for all armor pieces I tried.

When adding a warg mount to a unit in the unit designer it indicates that it requires a horse resource to make. This should probably be a warg resource. With 25 warg resources I was not able to buy a warg enabled unit. So it does indeed appear to require a horse unit. From what I can tell playing empire there are no horse tiles that I have found.

If this is the expected game play mechanic at release, I would just allow the capitol city to build a 4 square farm as a feature of capitol cities. You would also need to make it very obvious that this a capitol city only feature. If you move the capitol the farm has to go away and open up the land slots. Granted you would need to track the farm linked to being a capitol city as you don't want to whack farms that are naturally generated.

*I broke open some crates to find a " magician's journal ." It says that it contains spell knowledge, but does not actually show me or make obvious what I received (looks everywhere I could think but found nothing, did it even take effect?). yeah this eluded me for a bit too. its actually a chunk of research bonus applied to your current spell being learned.

wisdom tool-tip says its equal to max spell points. It appears that wisdom stat does not affect mana (there is no spell points in the interface only mana. I am inferring that 'spell points' needs to be changed to 'mana' if it is supposed to impact that stat.) max mana appears to come from intelligence. There is a correlation between wisdom and what spells can be learned. but I can not figure out the link. I can only decipher that if you have 5 wisdom you can not actually lea

my understanding is that there is a known issue with initializing units. they posted in some other thread about a pending new beta build that might become available today. I don't see it yet so there might be some catastrophic issue they detected that is delaying it.
