I am 100% in favour of having the starbase orbiting a planet/system actualy defending the planet and making it impossible to invade it unless it is destroyed. I hate it when I have a very good starbase orbiting a system in GC, and it can be easily ignored and instead have the planet invaded. How can one Defender be any better than a fully upgraded defensive starbase? Hope this changes in GC2.

I don't know. At first Ithought it was a good idea this phase 2. But, if SD manages to get a much larger selection of games, with the same easy to buy and download/back up way it is done, and we can choose to buy/download as many as we want according to the tokens we have, then, it just sounds great. It does turn similar to other digital destribution systems, but only better. I hope that SD manages to get more developers into this now with the new

Windowblinds should be less than 3, considering the dollar value. SInce it is not a game, I don't see it happening though. Technician, I can see your point, but, you can just play the demo of the game before, right? Well, at least when there is one.

I blame it on the parents. Seriously. The only 2 FPS that I enjoyed playing on line for a long time were/are Ghost Recon, where smart ass comments and attitude will get you nowhere, you get killed very easily if you are not careful, and this high difficulty made it so that "gamers" who want to mess arround end up dead quickly. I mean their characters <img src="http://images.stardockcentral.net/images/smiles/grim.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl

If you don't like something, don't buy it. I HATE Steam, and I refuse to buy Half-Life 2. I enjoyed the first one as much as my other favourite FPS game (Duke Nukem 3D), but since I HATE Steam, I refuse to buy the sequel. If I did give in, then I would have no right to comlain. I advise doing the same thing for any similar problem/issue you have. For example I did not buy Painkiller due to its secret installation of security drivers. They say to

I could tell you what you could do with it. I guess smaller games like LW Ninja could cost 1? OR, Stardock could expand and have mp3 downloads, and you could buy a number of the with 1 token?

Let me see if I get this straight. I started my TG sub in November 2004. With the "phase 2" starting some time this year, do I get (from that day onwards) the 10 credits/tokens to use till the end of 2006? Or when the phase 2 starts I get the 10 tokens till November 2005? BTW, the new "old" system makes more sense for the reasons you explained earlier so that developers get more money if th

BoogieBac, thanks! Even without the on screen nav tools, if you can zoom in the minimap with the scroll wheel/shortcut keys, is good. One more question guys for those who know. Is it possible to change the colours of your ships? Say the ships having two main colours, one for the bulk and one for the stripes/patches on them. Not essential, but it would be extra cool to be able to do so. I love my grey and orange colours, or the colou

This is getting silly. I have never said anything even remotely bad about SD but this whole silence from them on this matter, SUCKS. If SD for whatever reason cannot follow their plan on the release of games, they should inform their customers about it, especially since it is such a long time since they last released a game according to the original plan. And since I am one of them, jus say something Stardock. The price of the subscription is good f

All my best to you and your dad. My grandfather (mother's side) has had like 5000 hearts attacks so far and he keeps on going. Still we worry every time. I hope he drinks some red wine, it is good.
