The boss mob in this area didn't even show up for me ... combed every square of the area. No joy. (playing 1.3 beta) edit: he did show up, was about 20odd squares away from his home in enemy territory. Alas, killing him did not free up the wildland.
I've started scratching my head about faction power. I was playing my last Legendary Heroes game with Altar. For the longest time my faction power rating was 1st or 2nd, Magnar being a few points behind or ahead from time to time until we reached a score of ~185 each, with Resoln and Gilden being quite a way behind. Suddenly out of the blue Magnar's faction power jumped to something like 2700. WTF moment. I decided at this point I had to take him down a peg or two, so I built
The river not being a river does not just occur in the ASAG, it also turns up in the wildlands that is an ancient empire's ruins, inhabited by death demons (can't recall the name right now) ... plenty of river tiles that don't behave like river. Again, this problem dates right back to Fallen Enchantress vanilla; I have already logged it as a bug on the forum there. regds, -P.
I've seen one gold resource generated in two dozen or so games. Obviously not a frequent event.
Oops, looks like this is a feature -- I should've searched for it first before reporting it as a bug. Thought I had researched it to completion in another game, apparently not. [e digicons]:\[/e]
Here's another bug report: Steam just updated my game to 1.1 - now I can research "Refined Economics" over and over and over again - it's still available after 3 times researching it. I haven't bothered to find out if I am getting the bonus over and over, or if it simply does not complete as far as the game engine is concerned.
