This issue has resurfaced for me with Elemental 1.1, and my old solutions (windowed mode, turn off AA and reboot) no longer work. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure any of these problems have been fixed in 1.08v37, FYI.
A few movement-related bugs: - Heroes with equipment/natural movement bonuses are still limited to the base 2.0 moves when starting the turn inside a city. - Heroes and Armies do not use good pathfinding to take the "quickest" route to a space that is right-clicked on, often trying to walk through the one forest hex on the way. - Researching the logistics/movement technology that is supposed to add an additional 1.0 move to all of your kingdom's units has no effect.</p
C0Y0T6, I tried numerous permutations, but what finally worked for me was 1) turning anti-aliasing off on my Elemental video options, and parricularly 2) going to windowed mode. Exit out of the game and then reboot and start a new game. There still is a white screen for a few seconds, but you then should get the 3D map. Good luck!
I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and also am running it in a window, and the combination seems to have worked its magic for now. Worth a shot, other would-be campaigners!
10.8 catalyst didn't fix my issue, unfortunately. Turning AA off and running in a window don't help either. I think I'm done with ATI cards, apparently Plants v Zombies doesn't run on anything past 10.5.
The problem exists in 1.05 as well, unfortunately. bwdiederich, let's hope for the best... go bughunters/graphics card adjusters!
The anti-aliasing option didn't have any effect. As soon as I started the campaign and experienced the same effect, I copied the debug.err file as requested. It can be found at: http://pastebin.ca/1924777 Good luck! Hoping I can play.
It's not really an error, more of a permanent graphical problem - it doesn't crash the game or anything, you just can't see the game map. It feels a little like what it would have been like to be in Plato's Cave... that said, I will try to copy the debug when the map first loads up and send it over.
All of the title screens, dropdowns, interfaces et al. show up just fine, but the "zoomed in" map is completely white and nothing is visible. When I zoom out to what I think is the cloth map, it appears in the negative as a black screen; I can see my hero and a few other things. Changing the brightness, as recommended in a different thread, did not solve the problem. Obviously the game is unplayable in that state. I have the latest 10.7 ATI
