After speaking to several store managers (EB's, Game, JB's) it's ebcome clear you can only get it from the stores if you preorder it. That right it's preorder only. Additionally its not due to arrive to next month by some reports... And there is no limited edition available. It's regular only.
Interesting, as by EB games (Melb - CBD), they have stock on order and expecting shelf copies tomorrow - copies that are not pre-ordered but for sale to walk-ins.</

Thanks for the responses chaps(etts) - Interestingly I went and gandered at online purchases (being the luddite that I am, I still hate digital purchase and using Impluse is going to make my hair go grey (well, greyer)). Amazon already has it listed cheaper than Stardock has it (although yes, the benefits exist for buying it directly from Stardock) and if, come crunch time and I can not find a b&m version down here anytime soon, I'll bend my 'non-digital' viewpoint and get it from

If the game isn't portable that way, are the save games able to be moved from one machine with the game saved to another? I am wanting to be able to install on my home PC (or USB) and use my laptop for my daily commute to work (hour each way) <p

Years ago I had a wide range of problems with patching GC, primarily due to having upload filters on my registered email address blocking me sending authentication keys (Stardock were, as oft are, great in their help), so I am keen on the idea of being able to get content based support disks. And

I'll answer this myself. The serial code from the shipment to Melbourne, Australia worked a charm in getting the bonus content as well as the collectors content. I'm a happy chappy - now all I have to do is figure out how to play it during work.

Hi there, Well, I've been informed just now by my local friendly computer games store that my order of GalCiv II has arrived, 6 days ahead of the 'official' Australian release date of the 12th of March. There was zero chance to pre-order the Collecters Edition down here (most shops said "hat game was that? you sure you don't mean Middle Earth II or SW:EaW") I remember seeing a post earlier from Stardock that people whom got first shipment would be able to get the Colle
