Just to say, Frogboy have said, last week, that MP is ready to go. But team need a rest. So they will enable it this week. Which is obviously not the case. I still do not get it. Why they are changing MP experience, from SP. Would not it be better, to release it with same things as SP has, to make sure it is working and then continue from there? Instead of changing rules even before people get the chance to decide what they want? There is enough limitations already.
I would vote for Fall From Heaven 2, especialy its mod mod, Wild Mana.
I would like to point out, that using hardware mouse cursor does increase FPS quiete lot, when is cursor moving. This is definitely bug. When I have it ON, my FPS stays same(100) , but if I turn it OFF and moving my cursor all the time, FPS are going down to 15 !! Another thing, if I move my cursor fast between two object(there and back all the time), which pop up info cards at the right bottom, FPS are going down by arround 10

But they did not test MP at all, other then, "can we connect" phase, and at the end they have decided to please people who like to play fast and simple. I mean common, this is 4x game. You must be joking right? Why the hell you have removed tactical battles from the multiplayer? I hope, this is the case only for your official servers. I really like how beta started, and continued, but not how it ended. It was great, that stardock took so many ideas from players, and later on implemented them into the game. However there were some great ones, which were left behind. Overall, this building part of the beta was great success (I think). What I did not like, that beta ended before game was even complete, and all the balancing issues and polish is being done by stardock only. Other then that. I was really impressed
The game is good, but everything can be better :-). Nothing hold you from waiting till release, and then get an insight on a game frome reviews and forums. I am sure, there are going to be different opinions here, and everyone has a different taste. Also, noobody saw a finished product yet, so it is really hard to say. And if you want to know, how is the beta, there are videos on youtube, so check them out, and you will see :-)
I do not really like the fact, that you want to limit multiplayer, instead of giving players choices to ban some artefacts or spells etc... I am looking forward mainly to multiplayer, and I was expecting mods to take care of balance, but I do not want to play dumbed down version of elemental. Just because of the reason you wrote. If you can not do it properly, leave it to players, but do not screw it please. And for +3 sword, what is the difference, if AI get it and own

It looks very good, great that campaign is going to be different from sandbox mode. I hate building my empire again and again in campaign. One thing, as always from me :-). I do not really like shadows, which are round and only under big trees and characters, what about ohter stuff, trees and building? It would be a nice touch :-P
I really like this new screenshots... lighting is much much more nicer, and is giving nice depth to the terrain. Also, Empire tree is much more advanced, and I like the bottom bar. Very nice work, however what font face means? Is it new rendering syste, for fonts, which you were talking about? Please, make animation of individuals asynchronous, it was always looking stopid, when all the same units moved at the same time, with exactly same animation [e digicons]:blush:
I am not bitching, I do not take it as bitching. It might be, that my english is not as good as others so I can not express myself in polite manner. But as I said, there is always room for improvement and you should take it positively and not negatively. It should be something what can drive you further to improve your game more and more. I have checked all the videos, there is acutally alot of them, which si great... but sadly, I have to say, that UI is still very limited, and rough. It is just too small and too clicky. I do not like idea, that I own large screen to have more space on the screen and be forced to 1024x768 UI screen. Also, it seems, like you do not really think about expanding it. If people come with more races, backgrounds etc... its going to be horrible to choose them, because of clicking on one little smalli
I agree, its just too blurry, thing is, that I like look of the things more, with advanced lighting.... but slider does not work, at least, I can not spot difference now, between 100% and 0%... which is strange... However, this two screenshots are not very good comparsion. Advanced lighting makes things look nicer, but its just too blury now :-(.
I like advanced lighting, but on much lower levels then its default (75% I think)... I usualy set it arround 20%, higher then that, and everythings gets too much blurry. Also in game options its called Softness(Advanced Lighting), which is about right I would say. Also, what is Ambient Light and Specular Intensity good for? I was trying to change it and did not notice any difference, same for Max Texture Atlas Size.. Also I have no idea what is Mi
