Boogie Problem is that the ATI controls are designed to override game settings, if you tell them so.. I'm not even sure of where the issue came from, because now I can"t reproduce the "black map", I've so much tweaked everything I don't remember all... Problem solved !! In fact I should have fumbled something before with my ATI control panel, some settings were overriding the game settings, I think it was forced V Sync that was the culprit ... Now my game is perfectly nice in 1600*900 at max settings, hurrayh !

Hi I just bought a new laptop - Asus G73 w/ Mob Radeon 5870 ;-) Elemental was barely running on my old Athlon2400 rig, now it rocks.. except that the world map is all black !!! wtf ?
