Does anyone know if the "Legacy of Serrane" caravan protection works? If so, would it be possible to mod that so it applies to all factions? I'm certain that I've never considered that aspect of the ability when deciding whether to pick it...

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't send out a champion along with whatever troops you're fielding? They don't have to do anything except sit there while the troops do the heavy lifting, and eventually they can accrue some nice benefits. Unless you're always able to fully populate your army stacks even in the early game? Or is it that you only have a single stack and thus the sovereign gets that duty? As far as splitting XP, yes, they still split X
Is it possible to reduce units speed on roads? Units move by 2 tiles per turn on grass, but when they enter roads it seems that they enter railroad train or fantastic escalator of some kind and move at incredible 4x speed.
I think that the problem is that You're forgetting the abstraction of the army support apparatus. While those soldiers themselves may be able to go rushing along at a decent

If you've only got one box of random parts and one obsolete computer system, she has no room to complain. :P What's that honey? Oh, yes, you're right; I really should be cleaning out the basement instead of puttering around on the internet...sigh.
Regarless, the issue is you can get multiple duplicates which shoulsn't happen. I would like to see code built into the randomizer that says once an item has been been dropped, it is excluded from the remaining list of available drops for the remainder of the game.
You don't want a randomizer then, you want want a shuffle algorithm, which is entirely different. I strongly disa
You should put that snippet in a separate post with a BUG header for SD to include...
I just figured because he included a savegame that it was a bug report...and I guess it is a bug report...sort of :P (Please don't hate me for using 'bug' to mean insect generally, entomologists!)
Did they propose it to your faction, or did your faction propose it to them?
It could just be observers' bias; it's doubtful that you've got a record of loot drops from *every* game that you've played, just the ones that seemed unusual. That said, in the current game I'm playing I just got 5 weathered shields (3 in a row, even) from the early goodie huts...but I don't really recall any particularly unexpected strings of duplicate items from earlier games.

Isn't this just the normal situation where a resource tile can be incorporated into a city if you build next to it? One of the big appeals of "snaking" is IMHO that you can protect your resources by placing them inside your city walls. Also works for shards, crystal crags, orchards, iron mines, etc. etc.
For me it's Pete Seeger... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOKMx1xfj-4 ...ok, so I'm old :P
Don't have the DLC to test this...but did you try waiting a turn? Many (most?) enchantments wait until the turn counter rolls over before they update their effects.
Look, just because you've conquered the world and laid waste to your enemies empires doesn't mean that you still won't be invaded by demon pixies from another dimension every couple of years! :P
You could always give him a helpful poke....with the pointy end of your weapon!
You could just call it "cleric" and have all the level abilities be different depending on Kingdom/Empire (I believe that's Parrotmath's point.) As for the path choice, have a look at the Demons and Wizards mod that abob101 has; I believe it splits out Mage vs. Summoner paths (which means there must be a new top level choice, though I haven't played it...)
Might want to edit the title to reflect the BETA nature of this...I was initially surprised this had gone out wo/the beta until I read the contents :)
Warlords train their units in effective looting techniques. Undead warlords extend that to grave looting. The undead soldiers under their command spend all their free time digging up all the trinkets and mementos buried along with the departed. After all, they're not busy spending their time in inns and brothels. [e digicons]:P[/e]
Great! Er...wait, what's live? SD Plymouth?
Making it a 1-tile AoE would actually destroy more tiles. It should be noted that I pre-cast because I didn't want to wait for the Elemental Lords to wander outside of their Wildland on their own, so I baited them. But you don't need to pre-cast, you just need to cast on an tile adjacent to an Elemental Lord, then move on that tile and attack the Elemental Lord. As I said, it's basically one t
Did you try Making the AoE just 1 tile Casting on your hero right before they attack the wandering Elemental (rather than pre-casting it into the area you expect it to wander)? (or do the Elemental lords end up attacking you instead?) That might mitigate concerns with tile destruction.
