Exactly how much extra boost in finance does Expert difficulty give? Has Broken Loyalties always been 0 mana? So around turn 9 of a new game, I meet good ole Kraxis. Turn 10 he converts my only city to his.... wha? Broken Loyalties only cost 1000 gold to cast. Was I just unlucky or is this normal? I know Kraxis starts with 550 gold, just not sure how much difficulty level adds to finances.

I have 0.87 and I can scroll up when I cast a spell, and open the spell book again. It remembers my position and I can immediately scroll up. I just checked again. I can confirm, I have no problem scrolling up. I do not have to scroll down first.

You forgot one of the advantages of spears... immunity to counter. Not overpowering in of it self, but added to everything else... ya spears are just too good. But please don't nerf spears to the point of pointlessness.

Reloading on an autoload kills several events. If you just hit a fame milestone and get a Champion on an autosave, if you reload the autosave, you miss out on the champion. If a wandering monster attacks your unit on an autosave turn, you can reload the autosave and the monster will not attack. As I can figure out, any event at the start of the turn gets lost when loading an autosave.

It's still a bug. If you accidentally hit the explore button on a champion or hireling, you cannot turn exploring off.

Currently we have only have two handed axes (single axes and dual axes are two handed). This gives spears with the defensive trait such an advantage. Right now with the defensive trait, I can have spearmen that are immune to counter, can impale, piece armor and hit 2 targets or hit a target 2 squares away, and use a shield to give me defense and more dodge. This problem usually happens to me every playing session. I sometimes occurs on reloading the game. It always occurs when I play 2+hours at a time. The names disappearing on the tech window is always a precursor to the game becoming sluggish and the UI disappearing all together. I figured it's just a memory leak and kept on truckin'! I like the addition of these two accessories for unit design. However, I feel they are implemented way too late in the tech trees. By the time you can add them to your units, you already have decent units to build, along with fort bonus and gear, your troops are already pretty tough. However, early game, these two items could spell the difference of defeat and victory. I ask that you move them up to the very first tech trees. For example, First Aid Kits could be learned under Training instead

Update: The Arctic Wolf cloak upgraded to Dragon Hide cloak instead of Ice Warg Cloak that has the same stats but instead of 50% fire resist, it has 50% frost resist. The cloaks might need a separate line of upgrades like the magic staffs that follow a particular resist. Sooo... it might be a good idea to add a second spell resist cloak that follows the Soldier's Cloak. Edit: The Cloak of Shadows should also be a separate upgrade path.

I love the the new cloaks. There is just one problem. Arctic Wolf cloak has a defense of 1 while the Scaled cloak and Soldier's cloak does not. They all cost the same labor. Any time you upgrade the armor, if you chosed either Scaled or Soldeir's cloak, it will end up as an Arctic Wolf cloak. Please either take the 1 defense off the Arctic Wolf cloak or add 1 defense to both the Scaled cloak and the Soldier's cloak.

Can you add a set of magical chain mail to be unlocked with the Arcane Armor tech? This way chain users have something to look forward too researching that tech. Also, with the implementation of armor proficiencies... is it really necessary to lock out light plate and masterworked chainmail? Please let Light Plate be unlocked with the Armor tech along with Chain Armor and Masterwork Chain Armor unlocked with the Heavy Armor tech along with Plate armor.

This is rather minor, as usually my starting troops end up dead, but even though I had the defensive trait on my custom sov, the starting spearman had a 2-handed spear and could not upgrade later in the game. This is not an issue for Kraxis as he starts off with the Spikes of Krax units that already use a 1-handed spear.

From my observations, the main issue that arises with auto generated roads is how far it will go out of the way to avoid crossing forest/swamp/river tiles. I've actually seen a road accidentally go through a corner of a cliff to avoid going through a forest. This made an impassable terrain tile have a x4 road on it. Why do this? Just let the roads go through them.

How difficult would it be to implement an option to do either-or? Have it a toggle, you turn it on, auto build roads. You turn it off, you have to manually place them. Give every nationality the ability to build their own roads. This is a win/win for both sides. Personally, I like micromanagement, and a bit ocd, so those funky roads that are autogenerated are annoying. I wish there was a way to get rid of roads as well, that way I can build my own roads, and get rid of the crappy way
