First off, I'd like to say that after Derek follows through with his promise to remove the bunny slippers as a random drop and make them sovereign-selection only, I WILL BUY THE LOOT DLC. In the future, please make the gag items optional. Second, here are some ideas for DLC that I would purchase in a heartbeat: 1) More Mounts - I love Bonesplitter and if you made a mounts DLC, i.e. panthers, black fire horses, pegasi (plural pegasus?), li

Bunny slippers and a lollipop weapon? I myself am NOT interested in purchasing a DLC that has this kind of garbage in it. It breaks the immersion for me, and even though there are some modders that come up with a work-around, I see NO reason to purchase something that adds additional content, to then turn around and hack out some of the additional content that I payed for. What were they thinking?!? The fluffy items absolutely DO NOT fit the lore that THEY created, yet they feel as thought th

@Elmet... I am glad you are able too, enjoy! @Heavenfall... It must be the version that I am using, as you said in the PM. Still, it's probably for the better anyway, what if the file that I have adjusted caused a fire or some economic break down in an alternate universe? That would certainly NOT be my idea of a fun way of spending Christmas, but I do appreciate that you tried to look into it. You have done a great deal for this community, more appreciated than you know... thank y

@Elmet... It is TOTALLY up to Heavenfall, but I could send you the file that I modified. My resolution is 1280x1024, so I had to make some adjustments to center it. I would post a link to the file, but again, it's his mod and I feel it best to ask before I do. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

@Elmet... I have the Steam version as well, so here is where I placed the files: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Elemental Fallen Enchantress\screens It will ask to overwrite files, just tell it YES... Heavenfall included files to undo things if you don't like the changes (Backups.rar). It shouldn't be a big fuss to get it to install, as long as you are installing to the correct directory. Hopefully you can get it worked out... I am sorry for your troubles.

Suh-weet... Thank you for pointing me to the software that could be used to modify/center the popup window. Here is a final of the adjusted item. Screenshot #3: Thank you again... this is one GREAT mod. And now that it fits my screen resolution, its even better. Yay!!!!!!! I feel special! Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

Thank you guys... Then it may take me looking into the DesktopX thing. Although, honestly, I know nothing of what that is... but I am willing to learn. So... off I go. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

I think this is a great mod... fantastic concept and design. But I do have a small concern. I run at 1280x1024 res, which is my desktop resolution, and the border around the menu / portrait, where the traits are on the left... looks to be cut off. Here are 2 screenshots to explain better, what I can not. Screenshot #1: Screenshot #2: <img src="http://i.imgur.com/amohI.jpg" alt="" width="464" hei

Please Stardock, please listen to this one little request. *** Give us the ability in the options menu to check the box for nerfing the Jugs. *** Please, DO NOT penalize those of us that like them as they are, by forcing us to play with a bland and flavorless group of characters / minions. This whole politically correct feel that seems to permeate the gaming landscape, has worn a little thin. The Jugs as they currently stand, as an absolute behemo

Please don't take this the wrong way... but... is your keyboard missing the "W" key? Reading this post gave me the recurring thought that a vampire was going to break through the screen at any time, and messing up my plans for the day. Certainly kept me on my toes while reading.
People might be better off maximizing memory they have, given the relative instability that can result from the 3 GB switch. You can turn off services that are unneeded while gaming, such as Routing and Remote Access, and processes, such as contact managers and background defraggers. There are several utility packages (System Mechanic comes to mind) that make this easier to do, but Gamebooster 3, which I mentioned above, does it as we
Sure! Let's make the game more bland by making everything the same!!!!! If we nerf the Juggernauts just enough I won't fear them if I face them, or my enemies won't fear me!! Ridiculous. Leave 'em be.
I SECOND THIS... Come on guys... If you want the Nerf Hammer to fall on Juggs, then it wouldn't be long before someone starts complaining about needing the Nerf Hammer to fal

Forgive me, please... Does anyone still have Artifact 5.8 mod hanging around somewhere? The link is broken and I am unable to locate another on the net. Any help would be most appreciated. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

So I am guessing that no one has this mod anymore. Well... that is just sad. Elemental:WoM is still a really great game, and mods like this, just make it even better. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

Thank you for this... very helpful advice. I understand that as the technology side of things continues to improve, more tweaks and improvements are made in each new evolution of an Operating System, but... XP still works fine. Granted, I would really enjoy having a rig that could solve world hunger, end all wars, and do my laundry, while making me a grilled cheese sandwich. The issue I have is that my sad little budget is already eaten up with responsibilities that keep us clothed, f

Sadly, it REALLY monkeyed with my system. I know, it seems like that one entry wouldn't, let alone, couldn't do anything to speak of... but it really messed up my system.
I have an older system similar to yours. When the lag between turns becomes too long I save the game, quit, and reload. This works every time even though it is a bit of a pain.
I will have to try this... thank you. It just seems weird that this game has that kind of lag between turns. Elemental:WoM doesn't have this heavy of a lag, at least not that I have noticed. If anything, WoM makes me feel at times, that the compu

Does anyone have this mod, anywhere? Not a single place on the net shows it, it all points back to here. This link is dead, and no one seems to have a copy sitting around. Very frustrating... like running in circles with a bag over your head... fun for a bit, but in the end, a colossal waste of time. Please, someone post an active link to this mod, and the Artifacts 5.8 that can be used with After the War 1.10... please. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

Maybe I am the only one who is experiencing this slow-down? Well... honestly, I expected to have at least a few people to have a similar experience. I guess my machine is just old and dated. Crud. Have a blessed day, -kmkenpo

Please forgive me if this has been asked already... I looked/searched... nothing seems to be relevant to my question. System Specs: XP with service pack 3, AMD 2.2 ghz, 3gb ram, GeForce GTS250 graphics with 306.23 drivers, steam version of Fallen Enchantress. OK... sometimes when ending a turn, delay is very reasonable, taking only a few seconds. Then there are times, more often that not, where the delay can take 30 seconds to 1 minute. Rarely, although it has h
