#1 Just move on top of said resource in enemy territory. #2 Civilization got every kind of building, Warfare horses and Fortress buildings, Magic has Conclave Spells and Essence buildings. What you need depends on what you have. There is no right answer for this, though maxing out research first is a good way to get everything ;) https://forums.elementalgame.com/447952/page/1/ this thread should have more advanced

I'd like to apologize too.. I think. Will this help?
Stardock releases optional content, people get mad optional content has too much content.... So here is a thread where you can say thank you to Stardock for providing awesome new content, including Bunny Slippers and Lollipops. (you can thank them for the pony as well if you want) Thank you Stardock for my new shiny Lollipop, and bunny slippers! :)
That lollipop is deadly, remember in nature the more bright colors there are the more poisonous the animal is. As for bunny slippers, they are comfy, so why wouldn't you relax and be able to dodge more stuff? Think about this *realistically* before complaining! ;)
Yeah, if your troops are expendable, auto complete is easier. No fears and no Dragon Breaths crushing several stacks at once. Add high attack hammers from militia and you can see that happening when you fight a dragon.

You get that grain back from Sorcery tech (Nature's Grain or something) at the cost of the extra essence, and more essences boost Gentle Rain and Arcane Forge later on, not to mention troop enchants.
The problem isn't the summoning part (that's easy). Getting the AI to think that it's worth the casting time for that summons has been the hard part. The AI tends to calculate that summoned creatures aren't worth it. Which begs the question, is that true? are we summoning creatures because it's fun but not tactically effective OR is the AI miscalculating?
I'd rather the AI spent time s

Usually it doesn't matter what path you specialize in. However, Civilization for research, and conclaves to reap the best benefits are a good starting point. That makes you get stuff like Destiny's Gift (3hp or 1 initiative or 1 attack) sooner, and as such can make your sovereign a real killing machine. Death magic 5 for Blood Rage works very well too, and you can get that sooner.
My experience is that the starting bonuses etc. are far more important than time spent. I made custom ridicilous+ AI with the same starting bonuses as Insane AI (and more HP for all units), and it was like playing insane AI.. so it kinda failed ;)
Do not make a mage, work on good troops to beat the AI instead.
4 mbit = 512 kb/s top speed, not average speed so your DL seems to be what it should be. Dunno why they keep using Mbits for speed, probably to make it seem quicker ;)
What does this refer to, please? And do I need [i.e. I won't want to live without] to purchase DLC from day one? Tx.
You can easily skip the map pack DLC. The quest pack DLC and the coming Loot Pack DLC however
Hmm.. wonder if warfare would be better if we swapped the army size into civilization and gave warfare better troops. Shouldn't be that hard, I think I will mod this and try it out a bit. It makes historical sense as well, bigger armies requires a bigger civilization, quality troops comes from warfare tradition/skills. I know I tend to skip late warfare techs until I got logistics etc. in place first.
Select City, Press "V" key. If it doesn't work and the city is idle, build something in it and then click V again.
How many types of willdands are there, and can you get all of them to appear in a game? I tried the highest setting but didn't get all of them.
There are 11. I think I got almost all in my Gigantic setting https://forums.elementalgame.com/446059/page/1/ (more random maps mod). If you want 11 on a smaller map you probably need to cartograph a bit..
I would rate Men as second best race, after Mancers. I get the impression most people value Men most, though. A good choice in any case.
What about Tarth? That double strike seems pretty good... Especially with bows and ranged stuff ;)
It could be classified as a reload bug. (I've had that happen a couple of times when reloading) Another annoying reload bug is the unit disappearing act if you load at the turn they are trained. (possibly just previous autosave) I think there is some timing thing that is not optimal when reloading that makes these bugs.
Personally I am very much enjoying playing a huge map with only 1 AI opponent and just upping the world difficulty so it is more about the quests and exploration with a short AI skirmish at the end. I would love it if we could get bigger maps so even more adventure could occur prior to final contact! Cheers, Laz3456
https://forums.elementalgame.com
Is it possible to create an AI only Sovereign that shows up in random games? (Or at least selectable) I've been pondering making a dangerous sovereign/race to fight against ;)
Quoting davrovana, reply 2Up the difficulty and stop whining. I see the same thing and it has nothing to do with difficulty. Sure the AI can beat you on ridiculous using bonuses and cheating but if at the same time it just plays stupidly that's no fun.
I couldn't kill them fast enough to stop them picking on one unit (poor henchman...) and killing, since I wasn't able to one-shot the enemy archers.
As air mage you have guardian wind (+dodge against ranged attacks), using that will let your stuff survive archer fire better. Also, hammers with crushing blow can easily oneshot low armor archers. Get some lightning hammers or warhammers and stuff will die fast.
The Bows are awesome. Lower Initiative cost, and the Ram's Horn Longbow ignores 50% defense. (very scary) So yes, the point is worth it if you want to archer it up. Just keep in mind mages ignore armor outright and can compete with archers in damage, so bows aren't the end all ranged solution. I usually make my archers light, with lots of initiative and damage traits, so they can kill stuff before they get close. Armored archers are usually not worth it, unless you want a city defende
Oh. Could we maybe set Eclipse to happen regularly? I need to look into that. Also if I am not mistaken there is a mod that increases monster power throughout the game somewhere. ;)
Just steal code from the Blink ability, if you don't want it to teleport I think you need to create an ability that gives lots of moves the first turn or when activated something like charge.
You are asking the wrong questions. Do the speed boost do anything at all for Raza the Wild in tactical combat? No it does not, really, you can block with other troops etc. getting the same effect from the speed boost. The main effect of your mod is making these heroes viable options as Sovereign support. Without this mod they would be "anchors" slowing stuff down on the Strategic level, and when you are fighting imba AI's, stuff slowing you down are the first things you sacrifice to catc
