Yes there is some bug with showing it up sometimes, but it works just fine, just wait till next hit to come then you will see all hp decrease including from mantle of fire. It can crit for 25 with a good fire mage, so its fun/useful spell on tanking units/champions.

I have not noticed this, unless you mean that city level impacts research (+1, +2, +4, etc...) and I guess income. But if that's what you mean, then it impacts production as well. In my opinion, population right now does not play enough of a role, and as a result, the most effective strategy is to have a ton of level 2 cities... Well, if they s

Now it impacts money gain (guildars) and research. Production stays out of population influence. If you will look in deatails window of city and hold mouse above guildars/research lines you will see short sumary and there will be posted cities name and income from it (it comes from population + city level bonus). In early game it usualy brings more money than your buildings. However research is more boosted by buildings, than the population. Good use of population is sacrificing them

Well, I've seen AI cheating on normal in same production rushing ways which you have prooved few posts above: on 60th season it had 4 cities with 3 of them having 4 tiles influence areas, and from just graphical view dozens of buildings in it. I had passed through empty teritory just on 30th season and on 60 it was fully built up with cities and outposts, all shards and mines also build up. Well it was a bit annoying. I dont mind, i know i will handle it anyway just with my s

Well for dragon you can use lightning it hits around 100 with some air shards around (same magic school as poster mentioned). And others simply bash with some good maul you will definately will find on exploring. iI you mage you stll can use that epic plate and shields. If yo crax you can use airs dodge buf, warg, racial, +10 evasion drape and you are good as hell agains them. So i do support oponent: fire air combo is one of most powerful and easy.
