It is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I disagree with your opinion and am having a blast playing but we all have different things we are looking for in games and it seems this game is not for you.

When you click on the city their is a rename button if it is not showing it is to the right under details--i think it is name details i do not have game open but it is there. The list i have no idea sorry.
Sheesh everyone should chill out he has his opinion you have your opinion and everyone should be free to state their opinion. If he has a logical enough argument in his favor he can influence the devs if not then nothing happens--no reason to get into flame wars over it.
I hate rerolling for good maps where in the files would i go to set the game to give a higher resource starting locations. I usually settle for 3/3/2 which is good but i really want the game to give me 4/4/3 or better--yes i know that is cheating but i justify it to myself that it is only a single player game so how can it actually be cheating? Any help is appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with Shrink just make it not stackable--case closed. I personally hate nerfing things instead of using a little common sense and fixing things.

So far between the beta and now live i have over 180 hours(started 3.5 weeks ago) and i give it my personal score of 9/10 because for me it fits every criteria i have been looking for in a game. I will probably give it a 10/10 when they stamp out more bugs in future patches and after watching the stardock crew the last few weeks interact with the beta testers in tracking down and eliminating bugs i have no doubt they will stamp them all out.
Your guide is great i have only played pure mages so far but after reading your walk through i am going to give beastlord a try. Taking attunment makes sense in your build but for all other builds i have never found it to be worth it but yours it makes a lot of sense.

You need enchanters and the staff pick to effectively play mages so you use up all 3 points--no biggie but i really did like picking binding along with mages to beef them up early game.

Picked the new drylcon(spelled wrong) and binding using up my 3 points and no scrying pool--is it with staffs? because that would really stink i think the staffs in game are lacking and not worth the point so to be forced into getting them and wasting the point is a terrible decision.
Yeah but it has it's pluses--I am the absent minded professor type and was constantly losing discs for games so now i do not have to worry about it. When i want to ply something i can download it play it until i am bored and then wipe it and if i feel like playing again in a year it is in my library to play without having to tear apart the house looking for it.
