Once I had a 4 essence city (3 normal + enchanters scyring(?) pool) but I still ended up loosing because I was playing ridiculous AI and my closest neighbour had 6 cities to my three [e digicons]>:([/e] .

Your earlier lets play series with beta FE is the reason I brought this game, you made it look awesome, good job.
In the previous game I played one of the AI sovs was actually using this weapon and path of the assassin. They had (enchanted backpack?) that gave +20 to strength and other +strength item equips, within the first 100 turns of the game as well, a formidable opponent.
(If the graphics in the screenshots look a bit weird it's because I'm waiting for AMD to release driver updates for the Radeon 3100 on windows 8)
Should you be able to solo wildlands with your boss when world difficulty is set to Insane? My Sov has 34 Initiative with haste, and after using slow on a wildlands boss, it has 11 initiative. Since my Sov follows path of the defender it can use stun once every 3 turns meaning the wildlands boss only got one hit in the tactical match when I forgot to stun him. Taking only 34 damage from a wildlands boss in a fight seems bit wrong. Maybe give Stun a chance to resi

The test should be Strategy Game of the Decade. And how do you compare a single player TBS to a multiplayer RTS? It's not the same genre IMO. The rush I get from wrecking someone in say Red Alert 3 before that damn idiot rage disconnects to avoid losing is totally diffe
I am choosing them all equally except Path of the Assassin. I only choose that for my sovereign/champions using bows or when I find a hero that comes with Lethal.
Try path of the assassin when a hero can use fire. Focus (next attack/spell is double damage) first round then the two strikes (at 30% less accuracy?) path of the assassin ability (I can't recall the name) on the 2nd turn.
Well I naturally updated yesterday but today I've found out AMD hasn't yet released any support for the radeon 4000 and older (I have an ancient 3100). So I'll have to wait until the Windows 8 retail comes out in October. I guess I'll host a virtual windows 7 or make one of my drives windows 7 until they decide to support my card. The fact I played the game 8 hours straight even with choppy graphics is a testament to the game though. I also hope you use
Make sure you don't use the video drivers that come with Windows 8. I had terrible problems with my games, including FE.
Like the image below by any chance? Because that's what I'm enduring at the moment. How did you solve it? (I downloaded the game several hours ago and I've been trying to figure out the problem and how to solve it)<img src="http://oi48.tinypic.com/2z3xaub.jpg" alt="" width="1366" heig
Thanks for the swift response. Downloading the game as we speak.
I've been watching Das24680's Fallen enchantress play throughs on youtube, and the game seems pretty good. I'm just wondering if FE supports windows 8 because ( http://www.systemrequirementslab.com ) reckons it doesn't. I also checked the FE website and it doesn't say if windows 8 is supported. If this game works on windows 8 I will definitely buy this game and help you out with good input on the beta hopefully&nb
