That sounds similar to some anti-aliasing problems with FE: https://forums.elementalgame.com/430477 I think I've read something about a new graphic engine for LH. Do I remember correctly? Has the way AA is handled changed from FE?
Hi, I bought FE and am able to play but with some graphic bugs that prevent me from using tactical battles (screen all white). I would be willing to buy LH, if it runs better. Has anyone with a free key tried running LH with wine?
Very interesting: I casted a Shockwave spell (earth tier 3) in a tactical battle and for 2 seconds the all white screen dissapeared and I could see the tactical battle screen. Edit: corrected the Spell.
Thanks for finding out. I have an nvidia card and have tried to change several options without luck. Might be a problem due to wine and linux. Is there any chance to get an cloth map for tactical battle?
That sounds very similar to what I'm seeing under linux with wine. For me, too, the map is just white and pictures of self created sovereigns are just black.
Ha, I got it. navigating to installation folder before starting wine did the trick! Now I can play again. If you check "cloth map only" in the menu, you wont have issues on the map.
Hi, I'm trying to run FE under Ubuntu, too. Once I got ingame and it looked quite well (if I zoomed out enough) and playable. But since that I can get into the game but there are no pictures and all menu entrys are "string not found". Anyone has any ideas about the "string not found" errors? I even reinstalled several times (with standard installation path) but with no effect.
