Hey Derek, Why don't you start a kickstarter campain of crowdfunding Fall From Heaven game by fans? Once you are done with Legendary Heroes. Brad will help you with that. Make a cool movie about it and at least 100k fans of FE and FFH2 will donate 20$ each to get a game serial number after 2 years from now... This makes 2M budget. Maybe more. How much money you need for such a game, you think? We are all hungy for the good quality dark fantasy TBS game. I'll personally

Brad, don't you think that this Fall is too early for the release? Beta 4 became less playable than Beta 3. It needs good balance and lots of lots of tuning to hit high score from rewievers.
Ridiculous list I must say. It will cause much more problems to the balance than Beta4 has now. General rule is: making things more powerful gives more disbalance. Developers should do the other way round, namely decreasing the effects preventing the situations when mantle of ocean + equipment + path of mage gives free mana spell casting for instance. Its hard to believe that devs expect to hit 90+ score. They should carefuly start polishing balance right at this stage till the releas

However the last city may be countered by some kind of siege catapults and spells. I think this gives nice roleplay feeling that all the enemys heroes hide behind almost impenetrable wall of the last remaining city of their kingdom.
Even with innovations of Beta 4 cities and economy still are too weak. They dont have much impact on gameplay and victory. What I see also from posts of other players, typical gameplay is next: spam pioneers (mostly to get mana shards), level up your sovereign, find equipment and destroy the AI with no

For ex, automating outpost upgrades takes away potential decisions on, do I upgrade the outpost tied to this city (or the bunch of them) or do I train a unit, or do I build a building.[/quote] It will be a strategy decision on
With Beta 4 game requires even more micromanagement : spawning tens of pioneers, making 2 upgrades for each resource available, 2-3 upgrades for each building, now also upgrades for numerous outposts. And this is all multiplied by easy and fast made 4-8 cities. Its not a strategy, its a burdain. Instead of immersing myself into a beautiful world of magic I have to think about hundreds of these things and about when they will become available by researching a tech tree. Th
Dear Derek or Frogboy, please have a look on these comments about Beta 4 and try to implement them if they sound reasonable to you as well I play Difficulty Expert, Size Medium, Monsters Dense. I'm very impressed by amount of work done for Beta 4. Lots of lots of pleasure to play. Special thanks for a deep atmosphere and feeling of epic events going on inside the game world.
