At least the unrest system of fe:lh is vastly superior to stupid happiness system of civ 5, its so damn annoying. I can work with it but, its no fun at all. It doesn't even give me any way to kill off my city population so that I can become happy again short of using nukes as happiness bombs. Yes, I have nuked my metropolises just to keep on expanding before in civ 5. I had too many people for bad mechanic anyways.

Fire elemental tried to kill the exploring AI Hero but AI hero trolls the elemental because of simulateous movement so Elemental attacks the empty tile and AI hero loots the fire elemental's lair for free loot at level 1 with no work whatsoever. The said fire elemental is now homeless. And the said AI hero is one loot richer.

Well upgrading the altars on shards will increase the shard and mana income for you as well. I'm not sure but I think there is a max of three upgrades on a single shard so by when all upgrades is done, a single shard will become 3 or 4? And Pariden is only one that can cast arcane outposts I believe unless you're playing as Altarians in Scenario of FE:LH. And uh, to acquire more spells, research deeper into magic tech tree. And lev
I believe this is more or less as designed. At one point the Wildlands actually tried to actively expand their borders, I think this has been toned down or eliminated now, but it's not that surprising to me that a Wildlands can take a city.
How can we bring back the expanding wildlands?

Diplomacy in FE:LH is basically like this, if You're equal in strength or powerful than everyone, everyone will hate you except for the shrimps who is too busy brown nosing until you're about to win the game then they will hate you. If you sign a non-aggression pact then they will be friendly with you longer than normal and if you can keep the pacts up without forgetting when they expire. I think they will stay friends.
Quoting parrottmath, reply 38 I agree, but this might narrow down where the bug is occurring. I was just curious, since this problem needs to be address. Vetrar and the other bosses need to be programmed to stay within their borders. There is no reason for them to be outside of their borders. These guys function ingame to provide a cool bonus and new settleable area when they are dead.

Dragons will attack you if you settle next to their lairs but they will ignore the AI cities that pull the same stunts. But somehow my four militas killed the fire draouche. And I got to enjoy a great fortress location.

Yuck, prestige sounds horrible from what i read in this thread. No wonder why people hated Fallen Enchantress Vanilla. FE:LH is miles better, and I only play on Huge maps, anything smaller makes me feel like i'm just fighting for control of a island with various gangs. And honestly I have no problems with Onyx throne, I just settle Fortresses in riverside with 5 grain and 3 production at minimum if I want it to build onyx throne. And then there's a way to circum

I used to disregard AI being able to cast tremor every single turn on my caravan and they brag about how they're awesome for doing it.... until I send an army and noticed that it's hit with tremor every turn so when I tried to do the same to AI's army. I wasn't allowed to do it. Immersion broke right there. I got my army permatrapped via eternal tremoring of Earth from overly emotional Vergas telling me how much of a badass he is for breaking tons of rul

Is there any limit to how much it can summon? I want to summon up several darkling armies if possible XD Do they have any maintenance pay required? Like gpt or mpt. If darkling can be played as their own faction, I'd be amused. And gi

I started a one of several games on Hard difficulty and to my surprise, this game was relatively unusual in a way, Empires was basically winning on all fronts instead of Kingdoms as usual. Out of all kingdoms that started, only Me and Pariden still stand. Don't let the war signs on the score board scare you, Magnar, Umber and Resoln has never thrown troops at me for the whole war, only Yithril is fighting me while other three empires is just sitting on their butts d

joeball123, its the mage units not mage heroes. I should've clarified. As for heroes, I tend to roll with commanders, warriors and assassins. If i have a mage hero, its because I was forced into it. lol

As I play FE:LH on and on I've been discovering tons of tiny things that I never thought about when playing this game for the first time. 1) Regeneration spell can be extremely helpful in bringing units on the brink of death back to full life by next turn in armies with horrible healing capabilites including armies that don't have a hero that lead them. And can be used to bring heroes that got their skulls smashed in and the army they was leading defeated on fie
Don't think anyone has mentioned this yet but, is the problem perhaps that you never entered his land to trigger the quest? If you just found him out wandering and slayed him without having the quest, that would seem likely to not let the quest finish.
That's pretty good post there. Worth checking out.

Did you save and exit the game then reload from desktop? Starcloak was unfinishable until I did that.
Quoting Ericridge, reply 5One does not simply avoid Curgen's Volcano, Tornado, Starfall and more. If you was to invade me And I have appropriate heroes with appropriate spells ready to go. Well, sure, but in practice the AI doesn't do this. I've seen it immobilize and obliterate stacks which are in its borders, but not outside. Perhaps it could be more aggressive with its strategic spells outside

Well its ridiculous so of course its on ridiculous difficulty because it's too ridiculous to think about xD And yes, storm dragon, I've fought curgen's tomb before. And congrats on surviving. I'm slightly disappointed, i wanted to see the fortress razed by the monsters xD

It could be worse, the wildland's overlord could've laid siege to your fortress personally with support of it's entire wildland army. I consider you're pretty lucky that they're mostly weak shrills with few troublesome worms.. hope you have a life hero in the fortress, oh wait nvm you rolled empire. YOU INFIDEL! *Joins the shrills to purge the land of empire folks.* Roleplaying aside, I think you ca
Quoting Ericridge, reply 2Uh I don't just invade the AI with single army of death, it can be disrupted by spells via strategy mode It depends on your strategy, but I find one mounted Stack of Doom with +1 movement is a much more efficient use of resources than lots of small stacks. You can avoid strategic spells by only entering enemy territory if you can take the Outpost/ City in the same turn, which with movement 5 is
