Cant say I like the idea of taunting, since monsters ATM will not move to attack another unit if someone is melee'ing it you can always control "aggro".. that said if they change that system I will still have mixed feelings about this, since it would ruin one side's tactical capabilities... Might as well have a stun in most cases >_ Also the suggestion about taunting seems like a flawed mechanic, what if several taunts the same unit? his accuracy would hit bottom while

Hi, I was playing a game, and was in the special neutral zone that is a Big desert, have a big "temple" as a special building, and in this zone reside on of the huge bosses called: Torax, Who Grinds Mountains to Dust And In this game I went in and cleared the whole of that wildlands, except Torax himself since he was too tough (yay to auto escape spell.. That spell is kind of silly atm). I then move out of that zone, and after a mistake later on had to load a save, After I loaded
[quote who="seanw3" reply="2" id="3117901"]You may want to take some time and learn the combat mechanics and then rewrite this. It contains several errors in logic and understanding of FE. I guess we can look at this and think about how to make the mechanics more transparent for users that are more familiar with other games. Having looked at outlines, It was a nice flavour to elemental with a cartoonish way of looking, but I have an easier time notice some of the better graphics without outlines... Also WHY do having outlines enabled make all shadows darker? (Mostly tree shadows)... In general, if I had to choose, I would have to choose the one that is best for performance, its not that big and issue since I like the graphics :D. I think this is without, thats why i go vote without. Sincer
Hi there, I have been having some weird occurrences of being able to see some areas without being there at all (my line of sight does not fade when my units walk away... from some areas)... This usually happens around quests, but sometimes no quest is needed to randomly trigger the issue. I do not have my debug file ATM. I wanted to start out just pointing it out, and will try to remember picking up the debug file for you guys at some point xD (bad bad memory, so sorry about that... L
[quote quoting="post"]Magic Research (applies to E:FE only): Magic system is strange to say the least. Why the classical spell research system was dumped - i still dont understand. Most of the spells being common for everyone and others being specific for some school? Why? Why not make the schools differ? Not like it matter much due to fact, that warrior hero just obliterates everything in its path. Pumping loads of levelup skills into one magic school to access a few spells? Why b

I would tend to agree with the original post, since governors are based on basicly doing nothing, they should be rewarded for such ^_^. (Its abit deeper than that, but my patience atm is rubbish :D... but only abit). Either that, or I would wish an improved version of Adventurer's guild that is buildable in more than 1 city (why should all me 2-3 governer heroes sit and "govern" the same city O_O). It may be a "feature", as in, part of playing with death spells is you kill stuff easier, but because it is easier you get less exp and loot by design. Oh... and I realize this is a beta. I am happy to comment on what I see. As far as uploading and debugging... sorry, I have a budget for time I get to PLAY. Real life AKA 60
Hi there, this might sound odd... But I went and deleted my custom races (paying no heed to my currently custom heroes, as a matter of fact as kind of a test too ;)). I found that if you delete your custom factions, all your customs heroes will be assigned to "ALTAR"... Even the ones with death magic.. trying to start a game with an altar hero with death magic will crash the game. http://imageshack.us/f/39/screenshotcopy.

Totally uncalled for, and I hope that this is a thing for EA and Ubisoft only. Heroes VI have some stuff in that vein. Ok, About razing lowers land fertility, here is screen-shots and a thorough description of what I did. I started a game as "Lord Relias", leader of the "Altarrians" (standard race for your ease of use) I start on a "decent" location here, the map location is of little importance, since I am going to test how it is going to look after I build a city, then raze it to the ground. I have at this point leveled "Lord Relias" with some useless skill (Think it was "Quick") and a
