It's thematic, and even though Resolin goes no armor, they would no longer be able to equip a normal troop with a full set of leather and wooden shield without a trait? That would work too but as you said earlier the main problem is that the

point very well taken. There should be another epic quest made just to offset the duplication of this one magical item. XD

Everything about them just says to run up to the guy and hit them with a big stick instead. I once suggested the throwing knives needed +1 more range than they currently have. It sent off a firestorm on the Internet. Oh the sacrilege they wailed! But I stand by it. I've said it before an
3) Magic is pretty darn wonky, and I'm a little frustrated with Enchantments. There are a lot of odd choices and I don't know which spells should just get removed or altered. I feel like I need more room than 1-2 enchantments because some enchantments are not worth a slot but should get some use. ---I recommend having a tech that allows each city to have 1 additional enchantment, also where is my wall of fire spell? You bastards!
Just saying what I think. Of course I'd love those things in vanilla but Brad said himself the game is future complete and no new content is up for release.
It's not necessarily 'new' content. Granted, I'm no coding expert, but repeating the level 4 code at the level 10 spot with specialization choices seems an easy task. Some of the traits already exist and just have to be moved to th
think not, you are effectively boosting the AI's ability to pump out mage troops, also as I noted you can only sell to them when they have less than 50 crystals (or so).
No they don't. Let me be more clear, the RACES of Resolin(Wraiths) and the RACES of Pariden(Amorians?) don't have any of those bonuses their nations do. I can create a Trog nation that gets both the demons from Resolin and the magic gear/spellbooks of Pariden AND having more HP, able to wear heavier armor, have an attack bonus, AND having Juggernauts. The balance fa
There seems to be threads popping up every now and again about the paths available for heroes to take and one of the themes mentioned was specializing on a specific path. Since at level 4, heroes have the oppertunity to choose their chosen path, I rehash the idea of offering specializations to those paths once the hero has reached an appropriate level (example level 10). It doesn't have to be complex. It can use/merge traits already existing. <
Pariden and REsolin races need something more to their base race. That hp penalty is huge and they get dick for it.
I wouldn't say that, though balance needs to be considered... Resolin has the demons. They just need to be finetuned so that resolin champs can rely on them during combat instead of their own health... Paradin has magic and a tonne of it. They should be able to blow excess mana i

You should post this in the support forum and upload your debug.err and dmp-files. Crashes are a high priority for the devs.
Thing is I don't really know what's causing the crash. Game crashes, I reload and it works fine...but crashes when I do something else. There's nothing to pin it down to. <
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 6 I find this spell completely overpowered. I have tonnes of mana kicking around and I can 1:1 convert it into gold for my rush builds. Absolutely insane. Imo, it should be a 4:3 ratio instead. As is, it's a no brainer to use and abuse. Where do you get the mana dude? I never have enough.
By season 100 I'm often gaining

The ironic thing is that Wargs have been increased to 150gildar when they weren't even worth 80gildar. I'm fine with horses being worth 120gilar. I won't be so extreme as to sell all my gear to get one. However, Wargs need to be worth that 150gildar and I think the best way for that to happen is to add a +3 attack to the creatures. This way, the player will be torn in getting a horse upfront, or waiting for the warg. And even some types of champ will work bet
It would be nice if all six starting techs could be viable choices for strategy in the game. As is, Civics, Knowledge, Trading. Everytime. Nothing else comes close. In addition, the magic tree is lacking. Imo, a bit more duration should be added to champion levelups, and then abilties added to the champion techs that grant bonus xp to reign that balance back in. That way, you can choose: Civilzation, Military, Heroes as focus points. It feels like magic should have been
But I already know this easily moddable from looking at the files. But I wouldn't advocate this to be in the vanilla game. I'd never use None or Mild anyway.
I would if the rewards merited it. Then again, if there were bonus to using oppressive, I'd just as well use that. It depends on the situation at hand.

I really like the new tax system. Makes it harder to get the gold you need. I don't like that none to low is a 40 point difference. Imo, the rate should increment by 20 points each time: -20, 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100; coorisponding naming equivelants can be: charitable, relaxed, low, average, high, oppressive, tyrannical. This approach would give the player a wide flexibility in how to tax citizens. Imo, the unrest should not be the only bonus/penalty
they did a quick patch. Look for .0981.2 It's been undone.
I like the currentl potency of the blindness spell. I just don't like that it doesn't end. I would think a spell that powerful would wear off after about 10 turns. This way, you get smacked around a bit, yet may recover if you last long enough. Don't weaken the spell. That completely removes it's point.
I really like the hp reduction. As to Gilden getting a bonus, they have the least magic and so have to rely on melee combat more. As to Paradin and Resolin, they depend on magic, each in a differnt way. They should focus there efforts there...
