What can I say? I'm committed! (Or was that, 'I should be committed'? Oh well!)

Yes. They should work with retail and D2D (or gamers gate etc).
Not currently, sorry.
Impulse can detect 32bit vs 64bit operating systems and delivery the appropriate files to you directly. No action on your part. Hence why it'll be "invisible" to you.
The Hearts of Iron 3 patch downloaded from Paradox directly will apply to the Hearts of Iron 3 install from Impulse on your PC. There is a technical issue on our end preventing us from updating the HoI3 package in Impulse at the moment.
Linux will not be supported by Elemental.
I was hoping the Pink Space Ponies died with Sins of a Solar Empire. Guess not! Now, if one of the included creatures in Elemental is a Pink Space Pony, I think I'll have to hurl. I'm just impressed there hasn't been a thread about it yet. (I've now just guaranteed there will be one soon)
I don't think you have to worry about them in Elemental... at least not the official game. At worst there may be a user mod or something. The major benefit for me? I'll be able to craft the truely epic, ancestral home of The Pink Space Ponies. Only the 64-bit map will allow me to recreate this divine land with the scale and wonder it deserves! When we start a beta phase there is usually a week or two after the start of the beta where you can still preorder and get instant access to that beta. What we normally do is when a beta phase starts, we have a week or two period where anyone who preorders during it will get instant access to the beta. During that week or two we accept PayP
Just got the info... Elemental will be available via TotalGaming.net for a price of 6 tokens. You can't preorder it via TGN at this moment, but that is coming in the future.
