I have a game where if you or a computer player casts an arcane monolith to protect a prime spot (nice build are with essence) and you (1) declare war to remove the computer's monolith or (2) you build the monolith first ... in either instance... all of the land tiles within range of the monolith lose there essence. This is a fun killing bug, trust me.
I went from Apple II trek to the Gold Box games on a PC and the original Wasteland. I loved MOM and I think Enchantress is a worthy continuation of those classics. I only wish they would add Kali and some necromancy to give death magic some real teeth.
I am having a problem when roads come into a game, after that I can not select some units to attack. Some are monsters, the fact I am at war with Relias and he is running around my territory (and no unit can not lock on).
I would! Not only do I like the game, but I could play with my kids. I would pay an extra 10$ if you would add a Kali character like in MOM who could raise dead units.
Steve, thanks I think that software would have worked. If anyone else is having the corrupt beta install bug, They should check this out, it seems like it would remove whatever else is in the registry that keeps the beta from installing. I am afraid that I have tinkered with this so much myself, that Revo can not pick up what is still left in the registry.
I did the same exact thing, and I am having the same problem. Nothing has worked, except installing on another system. The same file that installed on the other system fails on the main gaming rig. Something has to be in the registry preventing the install. I uninstalled the firewall and antivirus software, and tried installing from an Admin account. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
I had a bug with FE where talking to a race caused the game to crash. Someone suggested uninstalling ... supposedly would fix the problem. Well, as far as I can tell something happened with the uninstall ... now FE won't reinstall. I have tried cleaning the registry, tech support. Their last suggestion was to install the game on a different PC.
I have literally tried two different download managers and at least 12 different download attempts. The results are either a crash at 95% in unpacking or the installer bugging out at around the 45% mark. The consistency suggests a problem with the install detecting something. I know that there are other strings discussing this issue that mention the download manager. At least one of the strings was resolved by the user act
I loved the original Masters of Magic, I still play it! I think Elemental is its own game, but I think it is also a very worthy successor. I do miss Kali a little though! I always hoped that given the new name... that a similar character would make an appearance. Raising the dead of her opponents would give real teeth to death magic. Plus, you already have so many cool pics of the "enchantress."
I am playing the new beta release, and I have a bug that crashes the game. Every time I try to initiate diplomacy (either through clicking on a city and selecting talk or by just clicking on the race.... it crashes. The only unusual thing about my game is that I created several new leaders to lead all the races (so I play with all the game leaders (even for the race I am) and several others.
I think part of the problem is how you like to play. I love playing on hard settings, huge world, with max opponents. That tends to mean a lot saving and loading. As a result my game seems to be more unstable than most. I am getting "out of memory" constantly. Like with the first version of Elemental, it happens all the time. Loading saves, saving. Triggers also include fighting monsters in the wilds sometimes just turn to turn crash

Has anyone had a problem where the install failed... and when you try to reinstall... the install program detects the partial install and tries to delete it? It crashes with a NO KEY bug. So, I can not uninstall the game.... and it won't reinstall over the partial install. Any and all help will be very appreciated! Thank you!
