I have not played elemental war of magic for a month now (not that I dont like it I love the game but have just been busy with other things) but from what I can remember I agree that monesarys are useless as they are right now as someone else suggested make it a percentage modifier.
Use your sovereign to cast Imbue Hero on the hero Your son has to grow up first. I think the age is 25 but could be wrong. When he comes of age, he will spawn in your capital and should have the same traits as your male sovereign. If female, will have the same traits as mom.
thanks this clears things up for me.
I have yet to recruit a hero that can do magic how do I do this, im on my third game and so far I still cant find one. Also I had a son born and it said he had the same magic as me but he has not grown up yet how do I get them to grow up.
I have only played two games and none as empire but I read a post where someone said empire does not get archers if thats true thats one in the win colloum for kingdom I love archers.
yeah I love this game, there are also tons of customization options, you can make custom sovs, troops, and factions. My favorite thing about this game is that you can customize everything.
ok cool thats probibly where I am missing the legends I will take a look at them when I play next.

So, if there are still some weaker heroes hanging about, it may just be from a previous tech that you learned. 20% food and mining is pretty awesome in the beginning, but if you've managed to get to those later Adventure techs, they aren't all that necessary, since you're probably going to win How are their stats ? I know when I've researched those te

I cast the spell that was suposed to revive the land but it just make it look better not furtile. That's what confused me in the first place too. But it's not suppost to do that - it changes the terrain bonuses that kingdom/empire people get when fighting on barren/green terrain. It's basicaly a pre-combat spell.
ok
I have a question about the legend adveture tech I researched it last night but never found any powerfull heros to recruit the highest lvl ones that I found were lvl 2 heros with plus 20% to food, and plus 20% to mining dont get me wrong I got them but I expected to find warrior heros and higher lvl heros what does the legend adveture tech do?
I love the game as it is, but last night I encountered the same quest three times in a row from three huts it may just be a random thing but it was the same quest. I had the same experiance, I was bored with civ 5, and I had heard if you bought this you got an expo free, so I did after I had it for a week I fired up a game and I love this game ever since.
I was just playing my second game and I scouted around for a new city location, I found one at the end of a peninsula it had furtle land, twighlight bees, a lost temple, the arcaine lost temple, a rock to build something to make diplo capital, two crystal cregs, and a iron ore deopsit. anyone found anything crazy like this before.
Thanks for the explanation guys

Not for your Sovereign - they can cast any spell regardless of INT. So the only negative effect is spells that use INT to calc damage.
wow this is good to know, thanks for the quick reply.

I'll double-check that, but when I was playing around with magic, I remember being able to turn some fallen land around an enemy city into fertile.
how do you make barren land furtile? I researched the spell of making in my last game, but it said I needed 100 int, to cast it since I was close to just conqering the last two civs in my game I just whent ahead and did so as my sov was no where near that int, is there anything I can do short of lvling a sov to get the int that high?(I like to go for all victory conditions in these games at least once). Also what do I need to research to boost mana I usualy have enugh in my games as I take the trait that gives 2 mana per turn th
Yeah I usualy never play campaigns in these games anyway.
I wounder if you left a path in the middle one tile wide if the ai would jsut suiciide units into it.
quoting post I traded 507 of my diplomatic capital for 1000 gold (which was all their money). Now their broke and ripe for the taking! Might want to fix this too on the AI Brad! The following is an AI problem... You don't even need to trade diplomatic capital to make a rival faction go broke. Just Declare war with 1 faction via the trade menu while talking to a another faction
I think they should add a slider to let everyone pick what they want, I personaly like it the way it is now i like that in my current game I have no metal and have to trade for it.
Ill have to check this out in my game tonight I have not spent much time in the diplomacy track.
I also forgot to add how much I like all the customization aspects of the game I did not even know you could fully customize your troops from armour to what weapons they use.
I just wanted to post after playing some more tonight that this game is great. I love that I am never stuck just hitting next turn like I have been in civ 5. the fantsy aspect of the game adds alot with magic and quest. I also like the straight forward diplomacy with the ai screen just shows you how much value the ai percives in something. The only funny thing that has happened so far is the magenas or something like that demanded 12 gildar from me or they would declare war I gav
I ran into this as well in my game tonight I build a city next to some resources I wanted but was unable to cast natures bounty now I know why thanks.
