Frogboy I think he's crabbing about the quality of the file not if he can burn it to cd. I rip my cd's to FLAC or APE files they sound exactly like the cd and when you burn it back to cd there is no quality difference. As far as downloads go I only download music my cd store doesn't carry till the cd I ordered online gets here.

When I lived in California I was mechanical assembly at 3com then cisco. Help desk at national semiconductor. Now in Texas I'm part time sales in Bealls department store. Next year I'm hoping to collect cans for aliving.

What I do is look in the zip file. If it has a IP file in it I extract it and double click it. Iconpackager sends a copy to the theme folder in it's program file. If the zip file has icons and the theme file I rename the .zip file to .ip and double click it. I'm not sure what darco is saying about not deleting the downloaded file cause iconpackager makes a copy of it in the theme folder.

Hey Gregory the one called codename dashboard you can use on win98 but you need to have .NET framework installed on your system.

Right scratch but what icons do you mostly see? On my computer I have my picture files go to thumbnails, I never see my music file icons because I open them from my player, I rarly open a document file directly it's usually from the program. So seeing the folder icons is the main reson I have IP. Also geoshell has it's own menu with it's own default icons that are neither windows default icons or IP's icons. Hey werewolf, When I tried this version and the last version 4.9.1 everything I used worked except iconpackager. I would only see the default icons.

Actually yeah it was snipe Iplural. But so was what jafo said. Maybe the way I wrote that one sentence wasn't totally clear but it's intent was in the sentences that followed. That article sounds like a bunch of doom and gloom crap. It's going to be along time before anything close to what it talks about can be apllied worldwide. Even if I can happen alot sooner then I think someone will figure out work arounds like always. Then of course there is always Linux. da_zman20 It matters what you mean by install. If you mean installing the OS yeah Lindows is easier two or three screens and your playing with your new OS. If you mean installing programs no not really. Download and install is the same. Only difference there is Lindows automatically installs once the download is done. The only real reason to get Lindows is if your a total novice and don't know better then to pay a yearly membership to a company that sells open-source products.

The only reason I don't use XP is for all the things IPlural said. I don't want someone sticking their beak in my computer so they can sell me something else. As for Linux forget Lindows and Xandros that's for dopes that don't know you can get Linux for free. Anyways Lindows is just a GUI over Debian/Linux. Try make another image for when it's docked to the left or right and specify it in the .ini If your not sure what I mean take a look at James T's Win3D not the addon set but the full set. He has a seperate image for all four sides.

I don't understand why alot of people keep asking for a systray and start button. Isn't this just to replace the icons on the desktop? I mean ALL the other dock emulations for windows only have icons no taskbar no systray no start button. I don't have a MAC or want a MAC but does the dock on there do any of the extra things people ask for?
