Let the guys have some sleep ^^

And then to finally trying to make it banned and unable to find a new worldwide dns to host again so it shows what they really are. I guess freedom of speech go
Quoting Achilles__, reply 17 you just have to downgrade to stable edition and then upgrade to new beta every time a patch comes up or you will get 2Gb updates each time ^^ How to I downgrade my version? Maybe if the instructions were clearer it would make more sense than shift+click something.
Unselect the "Show pre-release versions". Then shift+right click on the game a
Well the solution is largely useless to me now, as the damn update is almost finished! Here's to hoping that this never shows up again!
you just have to downgrade to stable edition and then upgrade to new beta every time a patch comes up or you will get 2Gb updates each time ^^
Rule #3: Respect. If you can't do that bugger off!
I just love rule#3 , troll the troll-complainer ^^
"....increase essenz 10%"
essenzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Probably a dev fall asleep after too much coding at that part of the game i think rofl :p
Read the thread called "patch update size" or something like that.
Hm iteration happens after the development cycle finishes actually, so its first development then iteration.
Thats probably still in development since i dont really believe its reasonable for a low level thug to actually be able to recruit lets say a dragon in his group. Its more likely the dragon would probably eat him before he even tries to speak or reason with him, wo probably a higher lvl intelligent NPC may be required to be implmented for this to be achieved, such a super smart troll or something ^^
The solution is simple: increase significantly the power of early weapons, increase the power of mid-late game weapon in a more moderate fashion. and in order to make battles last 2 to 4 rounds as they should (so that some tactics can be involved), increase hit points by significant amounts (I've tried with 15 base HP instead of 10, but actually 20 would probably be the right choice). Veteran and Legendary level units have more hit points, but even they fall short of expect
Now, to research: my main complaint is the following: it's currently to easy to rush a line of techs. Actually, an advanced tech like heavy armor and a basic tech like training will cost the same to research. And this is a clear problem, because an early 20 attack or 20 armor soldier isn't that hard to create if you focus exclusively on that. And by the time you create it, no other faction will be able to even put a scratch on it. Light plate should be an early mid-ga
Wait let me bring the Kryptonite before you cast it again ^^
Absolutely! We can use all the Gildar we can get!!! Especially in the early game!!! I never sell it though, it has sentimental value (I keep thinking I'll need it for some other quest down the road or something). I had to talk myself into selling the flute, but since we can't drink the flute anymore... Someone will introduce another quest for that key and the flute at some point, I'm sure of it!
I always loved drinking that flu
Have you tried researching new resources in the tech tree, I think its under Adventure? This sometimes produces more resources within your borders...
Yeah the "Lost Bounty" Research if i remember correctly.
everyone just chooses the gold bonus anyway. with the right building selection levelling up will be it's own reward and this annoying screen will not be necesarry.
Nah i never choose gold :p Either research or arcane ^^
Actually i believe the problem is that impulse only regognizes the stable 1.09e edition (and previous stables of course) as the versions that can get the patch for every new beta update. But it seems that if you have already an other beta, impulse doesnt regognize it and tries to redownload the whole game, since it seems that it doesnt understand or it doesnt work for the atch to be applied to an other beta version to the new one. So one of two reasons. Either each new beta pa

Sorry for the out of context comment, but i would personally befriend ogres rather than monks anytime of day, they are less evil :p
Just raze the city and build your own in its place if you really need the resources, otherwise leave it empty. Hope i dont scare people now, so they wont play me multiplayer when it works because i simply raze all other cities except mines :p
I finally got to spend quality time with the AI. That’s the whole point of working on games for me.
That sentence is all the money for me ^^ Which one used the wax ... erm i meant did the coding? :p
I am reading 1.97 Gb patch? ^^^ Whoah seriously, what did you guys posted as an update there? Anyone else has the same problem?
Finally, Sovs/Champions/NPCs should acquire experience over time when garrisoned in a city. The experience should be proportional to their charisma trait and competitive with running around battling/killing monsters. A character that devotes ALL his stat points to charisma and staying in a city should be the same level as some other character that runs around fighting stuff. Make it so maintaining a high level of charisma would be critical to leveling up at a reasonable rate.[/qu
