Should Maggie's key still be worth 25G in the shop after you complete the quest
Is this a bug?
Is this a bug?
Absolutely! We can use all the Gildar we can get!!! Especially in the early game!!!
I never sell it though, it has sentimental value (I keep thinking I'll need it for some other quest down the road or something). I had to talk myself into selling the flute, but since we can't drink the flute anymore...
Someone will introduce another quest for that key and the flute at some point, I'm sure of it! ![]()
I always loved drinking that flute ![]()
Well you can always equip the key to your char, althought no change on stats it will stop appearing for sale ^^
It would be a riot if you could toss that key at a Robber or Bandit mob and have them go harrass a rival in early game ![]()
The correct question is: should you still have the key after finishing the quest?
what he said.
Dude I love that "Feature!"
Yea, I like having that 25 gold. And why would you not have the key afterward? It's not going to just vanish, and maybe it's made of gold or something and that why you can sell it. I'm good with it.
Has anyone found a use for it later in the game. Is there a another quest perhaps that you need it for?
I'm thinking of making a quest where you need Maggie's Key to unlock a laboratory, and use the Silver Flute to drink the contents of a cauldron of magic liquid...

Sovereign [dramatic]: ... and then after slaying three foul beasts - umberdroths, no less!! - I used THIS key [produces the key with a florish] to unlock the chest that awaited me. That's gotta be worth at least 100 gold pieces!
Pawnshop Dude [bored]: I'll give you 25 for it.
Sovereign [indignant]: You don't understand! I could get 150 for this key in Gilden!
Pawnshop Dude [bored]: And in Philadelphia it's worth 25 bucks.
LOL - that was a well needed laugh. I could see the pawn shop guy looking at you like - yeah what-ev-er!
LOL Classic
