I hope the strategic spells are improved especially its variety, as right now it's mostly about tactical spells. Late game strategic spell like curgen volcano, earthquake or tsunami are insanely powerful, but it is only available in very late game, not to mention that it need shard. Elemental lack low level useful strategic spells.

Not only haste, but all buff spells last permanently and can be stacked infinitely (yep, what a joke). Stack haste and burning blade (lv 5 fire spell), and you have super overpowered stack (work best on long range stack like archers or dragons or catapults). Forget about magic in this current state of elemental. Most of the spells are not working as intended. I have two questions about the lore of elemental, who or what is draginol? I've read somewhere that he is a mithrilar, what is this mithrilar? Is it a sub race of arnor (titan) or another race? Perhaps my answer can be found at the novel (destiny ember), but that book is not available in my country.

Goodie from your own tech won't be that many (in fact it's just 1/4 of all goodies in your picture), it's because of ai(s) also research the goodie spawn tech.

Well, i guess that's the reason, you like units, while i don't use any other units beside quest dragon, drath, young dragons, and archers, and off course spellcasters mainly act as buffer and debuffer (offensive spells in this game are too weak and underpowered). Well, mine was very unusual compared to the rest. I play on large map, ridiculous difficulty, full enemy factions, and i prefer kingdom over empire. I'd rather go for lost library over food, 1 is enough, tho 2 is better. At Turn 1, i always give boots to my sov and janusk to increase their movement. Then go looking for material and gold chest. Imo, you waste the atk scroll on your champion, you know that you can get sarog at about turn 100 and give him all your atk scroll and he can have 300-800 atk depending on your luck on finding tandis vs talax book , and that takes only 1/2 of the turn you need to make such a champion, and he does fixed defense piercing dmg. Haste, confusion, and burning blade is bugged to the point of super overpowered. Confusion doesn't halved target's atk value, but it decrease it (i don't know the exact formula), and the worst thing is it can be stacked as many as possible depending on casters's mana, which means targets can have 0 atk value, or even worst, negative atk value. @ Fleetnote According to 1.09 changelog, it's impossible to have a group of catapults, as does dragons and demons. However it seems that the changelog was wrong. My favourite is the master quest one. It's seems the easiest and fastest way to win, or maybe because i like adventuring. I focus on getting sarog asap (usually turn 100-150), pump his atk with books and research haste spell as back up then focus on master quest research. If i'm lucky, i finish the game by about turn 250, or worst luck is about turn 350. Though i admit, the master quest victory is very luck dependant.

I see, i hope they add a dispel spell too, so we can remove buff or debuff. Btw, what about the current confusion spell ? It seems weird to me, the description says that it halved target atk, but what that spell do is making target atk value to become negative value ( i mean 100 atk become -100).
