Its not that overpowered. It costs a ton of mana, you can't access it until a late spell research, and you can't use it to teleport entire armies across the map or something crazy like that. Oh wait... Honestly I've thought of it like a cheat we use to help beta test
Lol. Teleport as it stands today is godlike. It's kind of like that dude from Star Trek "Q" who would pop in at the strangest time
Well, one of the things I'm looking forward to starting in January is having two of the top industry designers on hand to address this. As you guys know, I'm an AI guy. Not a designer. I just want to play the damn game.
More walking the talk! If you hire Chuck Norris after all of this I'd call it a day. Solid.
@Tempestwrath - [e digicons]:beer:[/e] Cheers!
Love it. As the era of bugs and gremlins fades into memory (excluding early-game arachnids of course), we enter the era of magical mind-freak spells. Can't wait!

It just proves that some, perhaps many people think otherwise. I just feel it adds some tedium without helping the game. If this is kept in with individual pieces- I'd love to see a completely revamped and complicated combat mechanism where yo

They probably nuked the ability to download all beta versions since alpha is incoming. Patience, grasshoppa! [e digicons]:grin:[/e]
I don't think 1.1 is out yet but it will be later today. Bummer, cuz I'm off work right now.
Quoting LightofAbraxas, reply 18 This is really fantastic. I can't think of another company with this level of dedication to their customers. I hope that you all get a nice vacation knowing that many (at least) of the community are thrilled with the direction this game is going. Not sure about anyone else, but for some reason, I feel like I'm something more than just a customer with Stardock. <br /
Full details here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/400368 The big change between 1.1 and the 1.09w is that we tracked down the problem with creatures not spawning in the mid to late game and that is fixed for 1.1.
I hadn't yet been able to personally verify the problem mid-game because of the daily patches. It was a serious concern to see the community bringing it up so I'm
This has been bantered around a bit in other threads... generally, I like the idea that the capitals should be buffed in some manner to make conquering them a mid-game endeavour. I'm all for open warfare from the get-go but roflstomping the AI would be more difficult if the enemy capitals were protected. There could be warfare over minor cities, resources, etc but taking those all-important capital cities should somehow wait until late-early game to mid-game in my opinion. There were some goo
Danabbit, I took today off from work and it probably won't be ready until tonight. I'd like to file a complaint that all future releases should be scheduled before my days off. I'll have my people call your people to coordinate. Thank you.
Expecting modders to build the game that the community was promised and therefore expected is even worse than the paid beta we are going through now. If modders do create a really great new game, so great that noone plays the original Elemental it will be a testament to how mediocre 1.0-1.1 is, even if stability is 100%.
Don't doubt for a second I had my "WTF!" moments when I first purchased the game. However, m
Thanks for the thoughts and reply, Brad.

I wonder if I've seen his posts here... I've gotta hand it to you, Brad. I'm starting to see where this thing is goin'. Building a solid infrastructure to allow the mod community to content the crap out of this will be a real future money maker for you guys. If I had some extra gildar laying aroun
I take it Janusk wasn't there? He doesn't tolerate dragon nonsense. He would have kicked that dragon back to the future of season 150. On a serious note that is a weird one. Never seen that in any of my games.

Not sure if this is a bug or not (or if it's already mentioned) but I noticed after taking enemy cities the land does not update to my faction's type. If I save and then reload it will immediately update. Thanks.
