I was lucky to figure out MS Paint to edit the map images for the AI testing, rofl.
Here's what I have as the properties of my shortcut and it works fine (use it to view all map and cycle turns for AI testing): "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Elemental\Elemental.exe" - cheat So just putting "- cheat" on the end should work for wherever you have the game installed I think.
Hi Sam - you are running 1.11, correct? I think this particular bug was fixed in the 1.19 series of betas...so the 1.2 version should fix this when released (or if you elect to upgrade to the beta series).

I did a few more analysis of the pop locks in this thread since my initial earlier reply: https://forums.elementalgame.com/407995 Short story: all Kingdom Factions with the exception of Altar seem to have pop lock issues, some way more serious than others. Most of Empires seems ok. The starting location seems to have nothing to do with whether a faction pop locks - it seems to be in the AI code, especially for Kingdoms. [e dig

Ok so here is my doctorate research. I started a new game using the vanilla MEDIUM map Colaxi. I wanted to see if the previous map itself or size of the map affected results. I reduced the # of games from 10 to 5 but still did two rounds. In short all of the Kingdom factions are messed up with the exception of Altar. Kraxis needs a peek. I believe if you edit the champion's card and just save it (without changing anything), it will refresh the icons - I think. Not ideal, but I believe a workaround instead of restarting the game.

Ok so as I watched reruns of Gilligan's Island I decided to run games 11-20 using the same baseline save as the first 10. 1.19n issue. I renamed Relias to Frogboy at the start of the game (this is now turn 92). However, at the birth screen the game announced Relias was the father.
