Kestral - just got done reading the monster manual. Well done, very professional. Gives me fond memories of the Caribbean map I had from the original 1987 Sid Meier's Pirates, which was played on x2 360K floppy disks. Epic. Took me back to being a kid. Damn, I'm old. [Edit] On the Titan abilities page 85 should that say "Spell_DelinsBreath" or just "Delin's Breath"? If you look below, there is something called "Titan's Breath".

Welcome, nice write up and very well thought out!
Nice. This is a thread I want to follow.
Outstanding.
GC2 Crossover. Yes, played AD&D but not much. I'm 114 young and faster than all you young whipper snappers. Let me tell you about the hills I had to walk uphill for to reach school, both ways, in the snow, yada yada yada.. Ok, I'm 37.
Awesome, glad I could help. I accept the challenge, I think I will do another. [e digicons][/e] Will need to start it this weekend.
Hi - I should have closed this out, doh! Thanks for reading. [e digicons][/e] This playthrough was on Sean's .002 mod and he had about 11 further updates. In addition, 1.004 FE came out (now 1.01). So I decided to call it and update both vanilla and Sean's version. I was at about turn 250, my FP was #1, made peace with Altar and was mopping up that 1 darkling lair (the shot of firestorm on the 8 army stack, lol). Only faction I was at war with was Tarth and they were r
My two gildar: AI use of strategic spells - they need to use them, all of them. If mana is a problem, please consider (for higher difficulties) giving some mana bonuses to offset. The AI is gimped. Diplomacy AI - Refine the dogpile methodology and bring balance. There have been many posts on this with good ideas. Personally would prefer weaker factions band together to balance a stronger faction. As a player, if I'm top dog (or near top dog) I welco
Shit, you should see some of the DLC that Paradox put out for CKII. Makes Horse Armor look like Shivering Isles. (god that was a nerdy reference) They sell individual background music, coats of arms, and all types of minor shit. But then again, it's cheap and their $5 DLC are pretty meaningful...I hate when I try to make a point and in the middle I find a way to argue with myself.
lo
They did fix the stacking on a single unit (AI was casting it multiple times on the same unit, along with other spells like burning blade). However, unsure if the intended design is for it to stack across multiple units. Sounds like it is.
I will buy the DLC that includes stamps. Would love a large version of the Elemental world map too.
See this is where the positive reviews of the game keep coming from, an insulated bubble of about two dozen diehard fans. This game deserves mediocre reviews, not overly negative ones but certainly not glowingly positive reviews. It falls short of it's potential in pretty much every way, even the diplomacy is still crap and the text on the diplomacy screen has no opaque background and is hard to read. Seriously e
Exactly. I also don't like the original poster telling people what mark should they give.
I told people what score to give? Bologna. Reread what I wrote. I gave you my score. Manipulation? Really? It's not like I'm asking people to make bullshit accounts and spam user reviews. What the hell is wrong with asking people, if they are so inclined, to express their opinions outside this forum? If yo
Not calling for a bomb, asking the quiet to speak up if they are so inclined. I see nothing wrong with that.
Very, very strange! I had no problems whatsoever.
The lack of professional reviews has intrigued me so I'm finding I'm checking out metacritic's website daily to see what may pop up. The other day I decided to write a review to help spread some positive feedback. I want this franchise to succeed and for there to be more good stuff. Rated it a 9 (can't in good conscience rate any game a 10) and the overall user reviews went from 7.2 to 7.3. [e digicons][/e] Anyone else care to take a few minutes b
Hmm - on the fence about the map pack. Need to think it over. I do want to support SD but I'm not sure I'll actually use them. [e digicons](\B):vulcan:(\B)[/e]
Yes, my previous comment was for Sentinemodo and not for OP. I respectfully disagree with OP - I like the game alot. Played vanilla a ton throughout beta, Stormworld a fair amount, and recently Master's Affliction. Hakuna Matata. With that said, can't please everyone all the time. [e digicons][/e]
Just fyi - you can adjust the scale of units on the map. I set mine to large.
Burn, baby, burn! Never really had to use Firestorm before... but the combination of Firestorm plus freeze then firestorm plus tremor is putting an end to this dangerous darkling horde. The mod really makes certain lairs feel like they are minor factions... pretty cool. The lair is a few tiles to the left, I have my own armies just to the right, ready to pounce. <img src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19969679/Fallen%20Enchantress/1.00/FallenEnchantress_1352046792.jpg" alt="" width="840" h
Yeah... didn't want to abandon this game yet, too fun.
Sean - something is buggy (at least in .002 version I'm playing) with Darkling Shamans. In this shot, he is invisible... he cast something right out of the gate, disappeared, and I can't attack him and he can't attack me. Kind of a buzzkill, he was a level 18 shaman in a fully army stack defending his lair. This was the climactic battle to free all the area around Curgens! [e digicons][/e] This final stack was 9 units, had 5K+ hit points. Epic. <img src="h
Bump. Derek - here's a shot that shows a -15 hit point debuff to the units in my city. Now, the debuff was -16 and I just cast dispel enchantment, taking it -15... which means the sneaky AI has cast that thing on my city 16x without any UI to figure out what in the world the debuff is or, to even know its there without reviewing each and every citie's details. Please consider adding something for the users to easily determine what and were debuffs are located and who in the world woul
