I could be mistaken or it could have changed so please don't make a purchase decision based on that. I'd like to get a clarification on this as I frequently spread the Elemental word. I often bring up the 2 free expansions as illustration of Stardocks commitment to its users. Would b

Of course there is no description of this in the manual, so I have no idea what it is actually or what the chance is of it doing its special damage, it seems to have a small percentage chance, like critical hit, of happening. We would have plenty of monsters and things to do without breaking the game balance if they would just give us monster lairs.

But, before emptying $50 out of my wallet I decided to check the reviewers. To summarize they say: Good game. Released before it was ready. Lacks polish. Lacks continuity and storyline, and is VERY buggy. But--they all liked it! So, I suspect that the reviews
In AoW, the damage does not scale and is fine. The problem comes when a unit has its resistance bumped up to where it is virtually cannot be hit with magic. And why have resistance? Because it is easier to balance magic against weapons when there is a resistance stat. It can be done without resistance, but
Just add a stat that allows units to take avoid taking damage from spells, and have INT make the spell caster better able to overcome this resistance.

However, technology, 'best practices', and knowledge have also progressed at, I assume, a reasonable pace to counter all that.
Not really. There are some things that make it easier, but some times they have pit falls that can make it easier than ever to have a problem and not notice (e.g. garbage colle

If I want to play something like Elemental or Sim City or Civilization 5 on a SSD because of it's super fast load speed how do I do that? Does it work? And is it worth it? Also, what SSD would someone recommend for that?
You will want to look at the random access speed, as t
Last I heard it was 10,000 writes minimum per sector. 1 Sector = 4 KB of disc space. They typically balance it out so that each sector gets the same amount of wear.

From advice I have read of threads like this one elsewhere, it would seem that if you do not what to build your own then the next best option (in terms of what you get for your money) is to go with a brand of intermediate size (not one of the really big ones like Dell and HP, but not obscure either). My personal preference is Micro Express, but I have only looked at their laptops (and the cheapest gaming setup for those last time I looked was above the price you list).
