Calloused Hide (+1 defense per level) etc. is fun to have, and not rea
Cackfiend
dont all talk at once now
What settings/strategies do you employ to maximize the fun and make the game challenging? I've put about 80 hours into the game so far and I'm somewhat struggling to get away from the "make 1 badass hero and crush everything" strategy. There has got to be more fun ways to play this game.
what modifications to the Tile Mod did you make exactly?
8.5/10 for me was great and a lot better than the other x-men movies
I honestly think staying away from the name Elemental is still a good idea. FE:LH is successful in part because of this IMO. Stick with Fallen Enchantress as the prefix to sequels; Fallen Enchantress: Frogboy's Doom, Fallen Enchantress: This one has Multiplayer, etc
didnt know that spell existed, thanks for the tip
Multiplayer We have a lot of requests for this. Here’s the basic issue. The tactical battle system in the Elemental games was not written in a way that allows for multiplayer. All the actions in it happen within its own box. The short version is that all the tactical battle stuff would have to be rewritten, from scratch, to have the tactical battles happen in multiplayer and that’s just not going to happen. That would be extremely exp
I appreciate all the suggestions on how to get lots of mana, and I've already done all of them. In one game I was up to like 30 mana a turn and still felt like it wasnt enough. Getting 50 or 100 mana every once in a while by doing a quest or whatever would really be awesome. Any mods that do this?
Make Mana a reward - I miss being able to find mana crystals as a reward for searching a lair. I've had a real hard time so far in the game getting good mana income and I think this would help a lot Option to make Heroes permadeath - not a big fan of killing enemy heroes over and over again, and I miss taking all their items when they did die
Ok, so FE/LH isn't MP, and almost certainly never will be. Instead of spending your time complaining about it, just go on Steam and find a MP game you like. There's tons of them out there, at least one should appeal to you.
god i hate when people on these forums say this. we dont want to play other MP games. we want to play FE:LH multiplayer. there is no othe
Quoting Cackfiend, reply 24it doesnt work like this. the network coder isnt sacrificing his time doing that rather than creating new content for a game Different people doing different tasks doesn't mean you can afford to pay both of them at the same time, for the entire length of the project, longer to avoid cutting other work, or sometimes even at all. Everything costs part of a finite money supply (unless you're Gabe
Hi Fistalis, I noticed in this thread you voted Yes for multiplayer https://forums.elementalgame.com/405947/page/1/#replies interesting thread I have to admit... seems roughly half want multiplayer out of 8 pages of votes, and thats after the "multiplayer crowd abandoned the forums" also, if you read the replies theres *gasp* even more people pointin
I've always thought of MP in terms of content and features. How many new features or quests/factions/items/heroes don't get created because those resources are spent on MP? My personal desire to play multiplayer isn't high enough that I'd want to sacrifice all that much content or any interesting singleplayer features in exchange for it. Now that said if they announced they were adding
I really don't want to see MP on FE. It will change the game competely to a magic version of empire total war. Aren't there enough games out there like that? From 4X to 1X - Exterminate only... very one dimensional.
it doesnt have to change the game at all. this has been pointed out multiple times [quote who="GFireflyE" reply="20" id="3384811
Quoting Cackfiend, reply 12 years ago? https://forums.elementalgame.com/439794/page/1/#3314759 If you actually had read the entire post properly, you would understand that that "MoM" reference you are using are for the first "failed" elemental game back in 2010 or something. FE and FE:LH are different games, the designer for these games was Derek Paxton, not "Frogboy". By continuing making your
So you basically took something somebody said off the record years ago, and took it as gospel -- never letting go of it all this time. That's nobody's fault other than your own. Whether multiplayer ever happens or not, this was never promised to you in any way. Hence the reason you have no rational, sane reason to expect and demand it now.

Based on what evidence?
all the people that have stated they have friends/family that wont buy FE:LH because it lacks multiplayer. ive found several such posts in just one night of searching these forums and steam forums. Your narrow minded view of "multiplayer is bad for SP players and wont even make stardock money" is incredibly flawed
Quoting Cackfiend, reply 5 and Stardock just missed out on hundreds of dollars and my friends stick to playing Civ 5 Poor Brad, those hundreds of dollars would have looked so nice stacked next to his solar powered mansion and millions of dollars.
is your purpose to troll or are you just not smart enough to not realize this is just an example
I think Stardock has always been aware that some gamers prefer everything with multiplayer (much unlike myself). And I applaud them for sticking to focusing on the core single player experience thus far. But creating multiple redundant threads begging the same question won't make it come any sooner -- despite the fact you "expect" them to cater to your individual wishes.
So now that the first half of what was planned is done when can we expect multiplayer? As expected now that this game is actually good I want to play it with friends (hotseat, co-op, whatever... SOMETHING) and we can't. It's keeping them away. Single player games are good for consoles, not nearly as much for PCs. FE:LH is doing well but I believe it could be doing so much better with some multiplayer support. So what's the official word,
Just wanted to say that after being epicly disappointed with E:FE beta4 I went ahead and bought Warlock and the DLC's and its amazing the more i play it the more i love it and discover new things and just how much depth the game really has
It's on that site where I first learned that Stardock had acquired the license to MoM.
FYI, for the record, Stardock failed to acquire the license for MoM this is why instead of MoM2 the game is called E:WOM/E:FE and is labeled a "spritual succesor" instead of sequel
EvilRon: You're doing it wrong. FrogBoy: I'm not sure which MoM you played, but the one I still load up every 1-2 years and play several games from start to finish I generally have to remake several times due to the AI trouncing me early with huge stacks of enchanted armies where I have no chance of winning. Maybe you only play the game when you get a perfect starting setting, and you're alone on Myrron or something. Or maybe you
