(Tech Knowledge High) Hey ive been trying to use irc.stardock.com for quite a few days now and keep getting permmision denied or cannot connect both threw impulse window and with mirc client, ive used mirc for 10yrs now , i opened a port on my router, set a static ip therw router to system, have no system firewall , tried on both my comptuers, disabled win fw also. i use no external 3rd party fw,av programs nothing like that , in mirc the message im getting is. *Unable to c

Good point above me to , there really is no uniqnes to the races other then the dif between kindom and empire, all them are basically the same as far as i konw minus what there lil startup bonuses are, like 10% tech bonuses, i say we work on the ai now and then people that need a story go play teh campaign, or we work on there individuality after froggy gets a nice structured ai system up and working, weres the fun in a game were u dont have to try when the games set to ridiclous setting, i j
I think you should just go for the look at future turns like u did wiht gal civ 2, seirously what gamer doesnt have a quad core cpu? comon now there like 60beans online nowaday. The cost of one pc game. (or 2 if u want a lil better one). If it really is that slow of a community of cpus, maybe make a option of normal , normal (With half assed computer) ,expert , expert (with half assed cpu) . or u could just make the people taht dont know how to upgrade a computer wait an extra
i think for the horses and wargs it should be a very expesnive and late game tech so something like city lvl 4 or 5 with a very high upkeep, of like 20gold per turn @ 1 per faction @ 1 per turn, that way they people that actuall yfind the resource still have some sort of reason for having it. like the last horse warg one i saw was city lvl 2 requirement but that was in v108 days . but at least the people that find the resourced still get a early game advnatage for exploration and battle
it is weird other mods do work fine for me , hmm are you people using custom made in game factions ? or premade preset ones? ill mess around with it again tonite see whatsup, (yes mods are enabled lol). i got a pretty hihg tech knowledge, maybe i just got shit 4 luck who knows. i still havent really played since my last post but ill try wiht the standard factions. I defidently agreee, you can basically conquer the game wiht 3or4 maybe 5 cities on the ridiculous setting. and i dont know about you guys but i can basically unlock every tech within the first 2hrs tops of playing the game, im not saying i wana drag the game out to take 12hrs to do anything but thats why we have the pace option for dif people who like differnt gaming style but on the second slowest setting, it goes threw way to fast, i would def agree this needs quite a bit of work, (More te
Yah i have it setup all correctly but the goodie huts just arent giving me any of the special weapons, gonna try out the loot one, i think maybe its cause i stay using custom factions, maybe i have to add somthing to there xml file for it to work with the mod?, ill try it out wiht a standard faction. btw treid it wiht just thiss mod installed nothing else. I dont know if its just me but on my system, whyen only this mod is insatlled and running, and a create a custom faction, i have acess to zero buildings, cant even make a hovel. just wanted to let u know it does work with custom sovs, with built in factions, yours and standard ones.

yah i just went to paly and when i set the main difficulty to ridiculous i was adding the toehr players and all there difficultys were still set to normal, and i ahd to manually set all 9 of them to ridiculous, that is one big pain in the ass. hope they put out a quick fix for this one.
i had a couple lockups in the last to betas, but none since the final beta oen wahtever the letter was, ( the one just b4 1.1 came out.) but ive made new games since those ones happend, it happend like 2x outa 200-300turns were the gui would lockup, but certain buttons would still work but not the most important ones like end turn etc.
how long do you think for a workin mod to be available, nothing spcific to much like a week or a few days orr weeks looks pretty damn sweet

i have a few suggestions, Can u please make it so we cant sell the armor or at least destroy the armor that ur champ/sov initially start off with, i just hate the clutter in inventories after buying new gear. also to help speed it up add a quick move for units and a quick move for Caravans, i noticed that kinda seems to lag it up a bit after a couple hundred turns is the movements that its actually showing u on ur side at end of turn. i htink the armor thingy may be because maybe your human and using a wrait soverign i belive they use dif armor type, i noticed that when using a mod that had champs of all types, and i couldnt use the same armor that say a human champion would wear, i coudl still buy there type tho when visiting store with the wrait chapmion tho, im just thinkin that may have something to do with ti , try making a soverign of the same type of civilization that your using (human - human sov trog - trog
dont play beta then simple as that, i actually played to turn 800 with out a crash, it only finally crashed the nwhen i loaded a game, wich seems to be my main instance of crashing is either making a a new game or loading. im running similar system, Intel core 2 quad q9550 2.83 Nvidia 465 1gb evga' win 7 x64 8gb ram, i have my page file set to 25gb tho ive noticed it helps with games with memory leak issues, i dont know if

OH yah Btw a big bug is that quest that gives your that fancy armor thats like 15 protection that says oh its to big to wear, you cant wear it initially but if u trade it to any other champion, he can tehn wear it, also if you trade it back to your main toon he can then wear it also, its one of the fairly early quests maybe around lvl3 dungeions ruins etc. just figured id add that incase no one noticed it. the armors just supposedt o be a item to sell for gold i belive. </
