I'm almost 100% certain it wasn't up when I posted... I guess I just have that kind of power ;)

Really? I must have totally missed this.
Any ETA on the next memory fix attempt?
So it's happening during the save right? Or is it just happening?
I assume it's happening during the autosave, I'm not 100% sure, it happens between turns, though. I haven't kept track of the turn count to know if it's autosaving that particular turn. I assume that info is in the debug.err?

Both large and medium maps. I wasn't doing anything odd, no mods, no alterations, no quitting games and starting new ones without exiting, no loading games within gaes. Just open game, play game until it crashes, then open game, load autosa
Large map size (for the two games represented here, multiple crashes per game). Not loading games within games. Not doing anything special, no mods, nothing weird. The crash is absolutely inevitable. I CANNOT play a game without it bogging down in continual OOM saves. After I've reached the point of no progress in the current game, I'll try a medium map size. There should be seven or eight (don't remember exactly how many) c
I'm not sure who you are sending the files to. Can you link them here so I can check them out?
I've sent them to codecritter and the address. I can't link them here, cause I've already deleted them. I've been zipping up folders containing the debug.err file as well as the associated autosave an
...more, I'm done for the day (night? morning?).
...and even more Errors .zipped up and sent on in.
Yet more OOM errors sent in. Is anybody actually getting my e-mails? Not sure if they are being received, with giant .zip attachments and all.
Another batch o' errors sent in, with a bonus DX invalid call error too.
Core i7 920, 6GB Ram (not that that matters), GTX 285...
Are the memory issues fixed for me? No, absolutely not.
I've sent in a batch of 1.19C OOM errors (debug and save files). Also there is one bonus weird file, where the game grinds to a halt without crashing, using 800MB of space, no crash, but the game is essentially non-responsive once you press the next turn button, you can scroll very, very slowly, but the next turn never comes (not after 20 minutes of waiting).
I'm less concerned with the memory issues, and more concerned with content and fun factor.
I literally cannot finish a game, it crashes from OOM, it crashes often, it crashes more and more often the longer the game goes on, to the point where the game is unplayable. It crashes on large maps, it crashes on medium maps (I have no desire to play a 4x game on a postage stamp). It crashes, it crashes some more, and then i
I'd be extraordinarily happy if they came out with 1.2 and it fixed the memory issues. I'd be extraordinarily unhappy if 1.2 comes out with any other fixes, but the memory issue isn't fixed. Get the game functional first, worry about the other stuff later.
Large. Larger is better.
Fact of the matter is, Micro$oft are the ones to blame for more computers not being 64 bit. Just about all computers in people's homes these days have 64 bit processors, but MS dithered in pushing out 64 bit OSs and allowed tons and tons of systems with 64 bit procs to ship preloaded with 32 bit OS.
And another batch sent in.
Another batch emailed in.
I just emailed support and codecritter a batch of OOM bugs (debug.err and save files).
Yet another .zip of errors on the way.
For me, a 100% (never, never fails), ironclad way to get an OOM crash, is: play the game, inevitably, it will crash.
Still more errors. Have fun...
