The short answer is: yes. The battle scene on the box is a screenshot from a beta version of the game that we nerfed later on for balance and memory consumption. The battle scene came from a test of the quest of Sarog's Egg and its aftermath. However, with v1.1 moving towards using population as a resource again we can effectively have much larger armies. But epic confrontations remain a core objectiv

So what exactly is the refund policy of SD? I'm considering getting this game, but honestly, if it doesn't work on my PC (i.e. regular CTD, or if multiplayer is never enabled), then I want my money back. Not 75% of it. All of it. I can't see how this is unreasonable, or out of line with any other product I would purchase. However, on the forums I've seen 3 different claims: 1) Only 75% of money is refunded 2) 75% of money is refunded unless de
After a lecture on "restraunts", we now have a pseudo-legalistic lecture. You are mechanically reciting an imitation of juridic lingo, which happens to not apply to the computer-software industry -- which is constrained by laws & norms that are quite different from those which apply when a consumer purchases a house or a car. I won't develop what I mean because I will not hijack this thread with a pretentious le
I figure people have an issue with calling this release cause: 1) As much as Brad is passionate about the game, there is no guarantee that SD will be in the financial position to fix all of the issues with this game given it's curre
Is the GalCiv2 demo a fairly good representation of the game? Just asking, cause I loved MOO and MOO2 (I stayed away from MOO3...which was a good choice says a friend of mine), but I just couldn't get in to the GalCiv2 demo. It seemed that nothing ever happened, and the "universe" seemed really really empty. If I didn't like the demo, is there any chance I'll like the actual game?
I don't think the initial release of EWOM was ever meant to be an end game. This game was always meant to be a platform for us to play with and expand upon. ... buy SC2 or something other carbon copy piece of crap. ... Okay, I'm getting off my soapbox. It's a little like asking...d id Stardock really need 16 years to make a sequel to MoM?&n
