It's not working. The +3 icon springs up over the enemy unit and no health is added to the hero using the dagger.
This is simply a stunning game, the best fantasy 4x I've ever played. So many wonderful features, like designing your own units and RPG leveling up. I've started a game with the new patch and it is the best game I've played of Legendary Heroes. The monster AI is smarter which makes tactical battles very interesting.The stamina system is working so well and also makes the tactical battles more interesting. The game is more challenging,

I've started a mod. Does anyone know where I could change the pricing model in the shop? I want it to pay more when you sell goods. The shop seems to be paying less than I intended.
Are these the graphics for the final game? I don't find the art style anywhere near as good as LH, to be honest. Cheers, Sword

I've played a lot of Legendary Heroes. I really like the game. The gameplay, the art, the setting, the music. It's an abstract game in many ways, which is not my personal preference. For example, the cities balloon out over the so called strategic map. Which means that in a game where armies on foot travel two squares, you magically teleport through this snaking city, in one side and out the other many squares away in one turn, which is meant to be one Season of the year. 
The visuals look "off" to me too. There is something not as a nice as the Fallen Enchantress games in the art style. Cheers, Sword

I copied the core xml files that I wanted to change into the mods folder. Then I changed the abilities for Gilden. In game, I see two sets of attributes, the default listed first then my own changes duplicated below. 1. Is there a way that I can overwrite the core files, especially the racial blood traits, using the mod folder? 2. Do I need to keep the same folder structure in the mods folder as in the core game folder? 3. Can I name my modded XML
OK so I'm reporting this in a more formal way. There are two aspects of the name generator that detract from what is otherwise a polished commercial product with a huge investment of time behind it. I find it strange that such an enterprise would overlook such a issue for so long as I believe the fix is trivial to do. 1). The random names are incredibly poor. The name gerenator. It's unbelievable that you have that crap random name generator so long after release. I'll write you a list of nice sounding names for each faction, for free. These aren't in any order. 1). I like making choices. I like choosing what to build, what to research, where to explore. Legendary Heroes is a classic strategy game of that type. 2). I love the fantasy setting. I like to play in a rich and imaginative world. 3). The graphical style is fantastic. I love the look and feel of the game, it's models, terrain, buildings, spell effects, and monsters. 4). I love heroes and leveling up. 5).

Three times now I've played games using the new map where suddenly one faction's influence will spread across the entire map. The first time it happened, my faction suddenly had influence everywhere, including around other faction cities. In that same game, some time later the influence swapped to another faction but this time it left islands of influence around my cities. My outposts showed as in my control but the influence zone around them was the other nation's.

When the enemy unit uses defensive strike, I can't use it on them. The popup says that this unit already has this applied to it. Which is silly because I'm not trying to apply an ability to the enemy unit, I'm trying to damage it while remaining defensive. Cheers, Sword
