Had issue, going to try and restart.

I too cannot cross back over the barricade. Janusk and some of my troops are on the other side as I didnt take them all with me, and now I am stuck. Caravans will not go through.

Is there anyway to get food for a city besides a farm? I built a 2nd city too far from fertile land by accident and cannot expand any further. Anyway to utilize that fertile land if its not under my influence?

Honestly I'm not finding this game overly difficult to figure out and I'm a newb when it comes to strategy games. Just play around with the menus a bit.

Just quick thoughts and few bugs... - Color sliders/more options for unit design. - Spell particle effects...noticed fireball has sound but no animation =/ -Archer's arrow auto follow toggle button...very annoying. - Game still seems like it has a memory leak. I think playing with 1000 units would be tedious and unmanageable. I think people complaining should spend a little more time actually learning the game rather than complaining after 1 hour of play. From all the other posts around here it sounds like you can make a decent sized army.

I'm relatively new to these types of games, but honestly its not difficult to figure this stuff out. I learned rather quickly how to build a farm, not sure why alot of folks are having such a tough time. Granted scrolling over the fertile land and having the tooltip just say "build a farm" is not real helpful. Ideally I expected the farm to be something I built from the city improvement tab, not clicking the tile and selecting build.

I completely agree, I'd very much prefer panning with the arrows. I was slightly surprised to see that the arrow keys move your selected unit instead. I haven't taken a look in options to see if this can be turned.

Its not like the game is totally broken or anything. I've been playing fine for the past hour and having a ton of fun. Half the people with crashes need to go through and update windows, get the latest video card drivers, and get a utility to check/repair your registry like System Mechanic. Quick update I hear birds chirping etc. I've got SFX/Ambient set to 75%, music/event set to 50%. Good balance right there. I may actually lower the music down a bit though as it is still overpowering.

I had this issue too. I could not click the stats to level up.

Woo!!! Can't wait, I was staring at the desktop icon waiting for the patch...finally decided to toy around with the campaign for a bit, but wanted to play the updated version in all it's glory. =)

If you go to audio in options menu the ambient sound is defaulted only to 25% volume, I bumped it up to 75% and heard it raining. No other sounds so far...will we be getting weather effects eventually? Kinda odd looking totally sunny around my kingdom and hear it raining...unless the weather in elemental is like Florida? hehe I'm assuming we will hear more ambient sound as the kingdom increases. Would love to hear some sound effects coming from the kingdom.

Game is running pretty good so far. Only issue I have found was during the campaign I finished combat with a black widow and Janusk and my sovereign both reached level 2. I was prompted to choose a stat to level up for each character, but I could not click on the arrows to increase a stat. The wrong cursor was being displayed. After clicking around frantically it finally randomly selected a stat to increase for me.

Battles sound to me alot like the old Heroes Chronicles games. I have not played Elemental yet, but smaller unit size doesn't bother me...though yes the dragon screenshot is indeed misleading. But hey ya never know...smaller army size at launch isn't bad, easier to learn and manage. Maybe in some upcoming updates or a expansion the army sizes will become larger. A simple fix for now if it is intended is maybe have a group of 5 soldiers as an animation instead of a single unit. I have not foll

Just curious if the Magnar demon elves are playable? Saw the newbie elemental guide and they were listed...but not seeing any info on the site.
