And so it begins! So glad i bought this game
asteroides
Thats a great idea, last nite i waited forever to expand to get access to 3 iron
What about hotkeys for groups? Can you have groups like in most RTSs? Ctrl+1 Ctrl+2 etc
Nobody find this interesting? Because i cant mod it myself XD lol It doesnt have to be that complicated as well, it could be a simpler mod where the main attraction is that it lets you focus on tactical battles. It would make multiplayer games not take hours to get started and let people who enjoy tactical battles have alot of those.
Maps that take too long to play is easily solvable by a mod that lets you start with most of the tech and units ready. You can make a smaller symmetric map and then the focus can be on tactical battles. I------------------I P1 P2 P3 P4 I------------------I</

Or, you can shift+click all the portraits in the stack.
Both dont work because the stack is split. If

But wasting half my mana on a level 1 spell against a spider and having 6 misses in a row isnt fun
If im not mistaken intelligence influences wether you hit or not with magic.
To me downloading a game from a torrent is just like going to the video store and renting a game to see if its worth purchasing. Ive done that with countless games. I did that with Sins of the solar empire, fallout 3, red faction: guerilla and bought em all after trying them out on a torrent. I was gonna download Elemental as well but when i saw Brad Wardell talk about the game in the 6min vid and how awesome it all looked, i pre-ordered, also on the strenght of other stardock games (That i h
I would love to see a mod where you pick a leader at launch and it would determine the style of the army you get when starting out, champions and lesser units. At the beginning, most of your buildings would already be built, youd get most of your units and most of the game would be fights. A good mod for people who enjoy tactical mode in multiplayer. Special attention would be given to make great tactical maps (with choke points, elevation, +def -def. Theres a t
Also is there a way to make groups of units? a-la ctrl+1 in RTSs? If not is there a way to select all units in a city instead of shift-clicking them all?
I didnt run across it, so im not sure if it exists, but a creature editor? Like very basically it could let you pick a color palette and size for any creature in the game right now, edit its stats, the things it can do, flag it so it becomes a hero unit? I havent played alot but this game reminds me of Ogre battle, would be awesome to be able to have heroes like frost wolves, Animalist Ogres (creature summoners), metallic spiders, Ice trolls, etc.

I was thinking of something like this diablo 2 screenshot: Which still looks a bit like elemental, the tiles and no roof, and maybe theres a light setting so you can make it darker? The general idea being to allow for different "instances" to exist in a game beside the main map that any other players can coexist in provided they got the right "key" to access it (Say, finding the cave entrance (with perception skill maybe) or researching the magic that lets you open a portal to
Only thing i see when i click community is a web page Nm just found it, bottom of window
Things like a network of caves that leads to various parts of the surface world
Hey This would be a thread where people post general questions to people experienced in modding with EWoM. My starting question would be, how easy would it be to add places with interiors? Say like a big castle with multiple rooms, going to the plane of air with all sorts of planar monsters and planar specific items to be found? Something like what you did in Heroes of might and Magic III? That would be awesome to have large
Would it be possible to add in something like dungeons? Like theres a cave tile and you go on it and then view switches to inside of cavern? And then you have to explore it and theres rewards inside worth sending a squad in there? Something like Heroes of might and magic III ? All sorts of stuff you can think of like this, create a planar portal to a space that multiple players can visit, with specific loot and enemies.
What we are waiting for is the CDkey in our inboxes right?
People just need to take a chill pill, its a couple of hours late. As for that game that keeps getting delayed and missing deadlines and studying people's reactions, Darkfall was also like that and quite the epic dissapointment.
ARE WE THERE YET? HAHA Im watching gameplay videos and its making things worse! Nothing to complain about though, the game is launched a day early and im pretty sure they dont have huge resources like bigger game companies do. Just sit tight and be content that we are all putting our money in a company that gives a shit about where games are headed next. Its not like some other big game companies where the investors just want to turn out maximal profits and they could j

I dont mod (maybe i will though with this game) but i write scifi as an amateur and like to have dark ambiant electronic music in the background such as this: <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v
I just saw it! XD XD XD Oh well, 3 more days XD
Hello there. (Im looking for the pre-order beta download link, before i type my text =) Im so glad there is a company like stardock around. I bought sins of the solar empire after downloading it on a torrent and that was what i was planning to do with elemental but after hearing Brad Wardell talk about the game and the company's philosophy about customers being part of the team i decided to go right in and pre-order. I already vaguely knew what stardock was about but the 6 min
