Honestly, I would buy a $5 DLC just to get a pony. But Stardock foolishly already included it in the base game!
I observed this as well. It is a weird multiplication, where if you spell resistance is already negative, adding more negatives makes it a little more positive. haha clear as mud. I guess two wrongs do make a right.
Its changed in 1.01, that was temp art.
Changed to a pretty noose?
I think its a noose. It doesn't look like a question mark to me at all.
err that would make it work as designed... i'll pay more attention in my game when i train them. It seemed to be working fine though.
You should get 1 trait at level 2. Not 2.
That's weird. Sions seem to be working fine, they get the correct amount, as far as I can tell. I haven't used Henchmen yet.
yeah. I tried again and it didn't happen. I've seen it happen multiple times. I'm wondering if it only happens if you select the potential trait on unit design.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Train a henchman in a fortress. He comes out at level 2. - he gets to pick two level up traits. Both of them list level 2 as the level he has leveled up to. Expected result: At level 2, he should get to pick only one level up trait. p.s. Thank you for fixing the bug where they don't get to pick any traits. It works better now, imo, but still not completely correct.
Question: In a game with Epic tech progress all AI on Hard setting, at turn 165AC with a single level 1 city and about 1-2 outposts, and a level 4 Sovereign, should the AI be capable of defeating a Wildland Boss, specifically the boss of the Burning Lands?
No. You're probably asking because you noticed it was cleared. There is a bug where wildlands are being cleared prematurely.
Yeah, last time I tried it, it didn't work either. That was on maybe .982 though. I haven't seen any change log that it was fixed.
Vintage: Master of Orion Master of Magic Hockey League Simulator (learned to program in qbasic, to generate random players, which I drafted, and assigned to teams, and at the end of the season, I exported the data to quattro pro to keep track of career stats. You know you did it too. or maybe it was only me...) Arcanum Clash of Steel Modern: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 (1 for story but 2 for the hu
This happened to me as well, although I wasn't sure on the exact steps to reproduce. Note to self, don't lose any champions in city assaults!
SDC worked for me after one failed direct download.
I think the issue is that stealth doesn't protect you from wildland creatures (as opposed to monsters & ruffians). Possibly this is by design.
I had built up a stock pile of over 1,000 mana. I was going to nuke 2 of the remaining 4 enemy cities with Curgen's volcano. That is when the clever ai was able to take one of my cities defended by a champion (not my sovereign). I lost the battle, and then had ~500 mana. Then the ai attacked the city my champion (not my sovereign) fled to, killed him again, and then I had ~250 mana. Then they did it again! And I was down to ~125 mana. Under some conditions, losing
Nobody who thinks the Spell of Making should be harder to achieve?
I agree it is way too easy. It is like "I'm bored of this game. Time to win with Spell of Making". Only, why bother? Since its not really a challenge. Real winners go with conquest victory. Admittedly when I do this, I am already winning. But I'd like some consequences for trying to win this way. How about a -10 relations penalty "YOU ARE CAS
The fun part is wielding it with your sovereign. Which I did once. It is awesome. It isn't the best quality weapon, but I was telling someone about how cool this game was and I told them the story of how I picked up this axe that only giants could wield, and my character was wielding it. Good stuff.
I was just playing in .990, and this worked fine...
In my current .990 game I have 11 cities and most ai's have 1-3. Definitely strange.
Bandit lord is my new favorite background trait. It is very FUN. It has the potential to be very powerful, or not so much, but it depends on each game and it is FUN!!! Great job SD! My favorite is naming the bandits. I roleplay that they are outcasts/bastards and so they all get the last name Swamps. In my latest game I had the following bandits: Jorry Swamps Timory Swamps Brothers Swamps (group of 3) Triplets Swamps (group of 3) Roher S
I agree with OP. Only competition is Europa Universalis III. I believe I will get more enjoyment out of FE, especially after I create some mods.
I had the same thing in .991. The fire wild land was cleared extremely early. It was unsettled, so I took it. Yoink! But then my best city there was destroyed by a Lord of the Fire, or whatever. And there is still a dragon or two roaming!!
I disagree. Burn the old tax system with fire! Long live the new tax system! Specific upkeeps of 4.5 notwithstanding.
