From other people's comments and my own preconceptions, I was expecting more from FE. It still feels like WoM, with bells on. 18 months after the first release, there are still issues with the same things: The cursor remains annoying in battles, with that red circle still there, and the crossed swords icon remaining after an attacking action. Excellent stuff, thanks for posting! Just one thing that would kill all sense of realism: the squareness as seen in the mini-map, in the final pic. Pleeease, do something to break this up a bit. I guess this is a tiny map, but any hint of regularity really knocks you out of the immersion in a wild and mysterious world.

Please stop mana from going into the negative. I'm not sure what was draining it, but now I'm stuck with -700 mana, with no hope of casting another spell in the rest of the game - there are very few shards on the map. Also, please add a strength requirement for the heavier armour and weapons - all my heroes are now identical tanks. Game is crashing now - the quill pointer changes to a Windows arrow, and the game freezes..

Firstly, I have to say that it's a very long time since WoM kept me up untul 4.30 am. And secondly what a commendable job has been done, to bring the game almost up to speed.
