Now that sounds like the AI earned its Markinnzilla the hard way. Mayhaps let the AI also keep the spoils of its endavours... (Players whould probably feel entitled to that as well if they fought as hard as you describe for it after all...) [e digicons][/e] At least now we know what you said about the big rewards to be gained in the Wildlands in the sneak peak wasn't an understatement. Question would be if the risk is really appropriate (or to low) for the above a

Evokes memories of certain stuff the AI did in FFH2. Give the AI the tools and it starts to use them in hillirious and shocking ways. It already is becoming a beta-tester in its own right (hope it doesn't become self-aware soon... ;)). Driving home points about balance with brute force [e digicons][/e] . Just hope Derek doesn't get burned by one of those like a certain Dragon or Lich in another project of his... What is most fun is that it isn't a bug, just

Has a nice feel to it. Can't say excellent yet since it still shows its a beta and rough around the edges here and there (crashing in Main-Menu, one really long lag right before an Ebenwolf tries to eat my champion while being able to click other things giving me a short impression of a lock up which luckily didn't materialize). But I'm into playtests and games which are still rough around the edges. So I'm all for it. :) (Especially if the glitches are not game bre

Best of luck for the beta launch. Will sure try to squeeze in time in my current schedule to test how it is and give feedback if time allows...

Thanks a ton Sir for actually taking the plunge and investing in Solar Power. :) I'm quite amazed (and not in a positive way) about the price you had to pay for it (unless it was a hugely custom system, and even then...). If the 20,1 KW you mention is actually KW/p which I think you are hinting at, you payed 9950 US $ per KW/p and about 5000 US $ per KW/p from your end which whould translate to about 7800 / 3900 € per KW/p by todays US$/€-exchange rate. <br

Agreed about the divisiveness, would like to give some feedback on the beta and might have a bit of time here and there in the next few weeks, not sure later. Probably means less flaming / risk of negative reception but also less feedback. But your choice of course if you doubt the people who haven't participated in the beta cant handle the rough edges of a beta process...

On to new beginnings. Good luck with the endeavour to make FE a better game than WoM was.
That said, to keep expectations realistic, you should all assume FE will suck and give you cancer.
Instant classic. :D

Sometimes AI Players die to monsters and ruffians and sometimes the AI goes out monster hunting (seen in lost HP ect.). Could also be down to the Sovereign dying in friendly territory bug. But I'd sure not call it an illusion thanks to seeing AI Pioneers being unmolested in spite of being unprotected gallore. It just doesn't seem hard-coded and monsters seem to be ravenous at attacking the players troops not the AIs.

@ Impinc: Is the thing with starting Champions which serve as the janusk-template (and possibly others, lategame they appear on-masse possibly replacing any first-level fallen heroes?) changing into that Ankin-Guy (the Quendar with the pinpoint ability when he doesn't come up as Janusk anyways.) after each reaload (provided the reload is after Seson 1 when Janusk has allready apeared...) another glitch from the mod (sometimes the wraith Paralize-Guy changes) or is it a glitch from the bas

@ Impic: I know that the boots only show up for the smaller moddels. But they are still flagged as a non-wearable item. I know this since I tested with a male wraith and human. They don't even show up in the list of Items for other models. But even for those they are not a wearable/usable item (akin to midnight stones / silver flute ect...) So there must still be a missing tag. Like wearable item?

You can actually trade for them. :) (very feasible on higher difficulties given it's easy to trade zounds of mounts from them for cheap...) So designing Warg-Cavalry for kingdoms or Horse-Cavalry for empires is very much possible... Doesn't mean unifying mounts or giving them different stats wouldn't be sensible...

2 Bugs still noticable: One: After reloading the Fallen Janusk and copies (the heroes running around with the same model as Janusk) change to the pink skinned one with the pinpoint ability (Ankin I believe is his name). The Rangers boots are also still not wearable like before (they might show up but when trying to equip an error comes up with: This is not a wearable item). Hope this mod gets a solid boost with the advent of 1.3 beta and the new options incoming. :)

That is an already fixed bug if I remember rightly (in one of the 1.19 patches like d) i believe...) making the champion cost go through the roof when it went to far below 0 (presumably from having lots of bardic children on your part?).

Should be dependent on relations. In my experience at least neutrality / balanced relations needed to have them marry one one of their offspring off to yours. Same seems to be true for trade and technology treaties. There are a few ways to influence other factions to a positive attitude (like making a non-aggressive pact or other treaties). Could be wrong though on it being the only reason...

Yep occasionally. Also in favor of feature equality to singleplayer (with maybe options to exclude certain aspects for the compatitive crowd if they can't do without.) and coop-functionality as that is most likely way I would play multiplayer at all.

Functional 3 D Maps? This is mind-boggling. Hats of again cephalo. I will be more than happy to test-run this as time permits when you got a working script fully done (Not being much of a usable alpha tester thanks to lack of patience with rally serious bugs / glitches... but more than happy to beta it.). Finally someone gets to add a real boon to 3D besides the optics in TBS. So far I am not sold on the advantages of 3 D but this might change my mind. :)<br

Not a solution but a workaround: Put the cloth-map percentage very high and play mostly on cloth since there the glitches don't really occur and use only top-down view for the last 5 % because the glitches seem far worse when zooming out. At least makes it playable for the strategic part. Tactical maps become horrible jigsaw puzzles with terrain and opponent feeling guesswork... No mods from my side either. If I downdate to 1.11 the glitches disappear but if I reinstall the beta pa

I sadly can confirm this. Just trying to go back to the 1.1 version to check if it might have to do with me deleting the Adventure Content Pack Mod for the upgrade to not break anything in the new beta / if the bug will happen again... If preparing the download wouldn't take like forever. No idea how to fix it so far either... Update 1: Changing the graphics settings to less demanding didn't help. Doesn't happen on cloth map. Verifying it and downdating to Ver

Thanks for your efforts. :) Great work with spicing up elemental to a playable level and am anxiously waiting for the release of the 1.19 version of your Mod. :) One glitch I noted: The ranger's boots from the ranger quest are actually not wearable. They show up in the equip-screen but aren't probably flagged as a wearable item..

Antoher one to demand: I demand that the AI values heroes not just at the negotiations but when meeting them on the world as well. Meaning. The AI seems to greatly undervaulue hiring heroes. And the riddiculous AI has thousands of gildar to spend even after scamming them out of there gold it takes them less then a year (4 seasons) to accumultate a thousand gold on average (rather at the start of the game) so them having not enough funds can't be the reason. I sometimes hire Heroes

This Demandobot demands that the AI will no longer be a hapless victim to scams by the player :P. Which means: The rich AI gives obsecene ammounts of Gildar for diplomatic capital during diplomatic negotiations (treaties part of the negotation-table) while giving the diplomatic capital away for cheep when bartering for goods. Which can be repeated again and again. The AI having diplomatic captial at the meeting them makes this one a freeby even and enables the player to

@ Frogboy: Still would be nice if easily reproducable gamebreaking (and by that I mean easily fixable gamekillers) exploits (as in the AI can't use them and has no way to defend against them / block them and they work in nearly any game) which seem easy to change / axe get adressed as we report them instead of being seemingly ignored (posting in Elemental Support and the changelog-threads about the issue since the 1.09
