But why is my pewter dragon missing pieces. http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/1093/dscn5368.jpg ^ you cannot really see it, but in this picture there is chunks missing and part of the base is smooth(how it should be) and some of it is rough where there is silver/material missing. There is also a giant triangle which you cannot really see here where the silver is supposed to be lev
This is a topic that has been brought up a lot in the past, and I can promise you it won't happen. For one thing, 70% of the digital distribution market is not the same as 70% of the overall distribution market. IIRC, retail sales are still a much, much larger portion of overall sales, although DD is growing. Plus Steam is Impulse's largest direct competitor, and it would be unwise to do something that would help them out, especially con
I am unsure if the speed increases as your skills/city increases in size (like civ games) But it really isn't that slow. To me this game is just a fancier version of Civ (which isn't bad) but if you do not like civ games at all, this could easily be a pass for you.
Actually, we could use more flavorful/fantasy units -and not just summoned. More beasts, for instance. Or elite knight with high-end stats (much higher than the standard ones).
Black Knight White Knight lets steal some ideas from magic TG ~_^
I would think on teh final game this is a given, I highly doubt you would start in the same place everytime, especailly when multiplayer is thrown in.
It really is all up to the mod tools, depending on what CAN be done with them will show the type of mods that can follow. If they can make units follow a simple path in warcraft 3 I hope they could give us the tools here also, the modding community would get blown open like WC3. You'd have a lot of work to do on the economy, too. Farms don't do zombies much good. Maybe zombies can't train units at all, but have to convert them by killing living units--that way you give
It could always just be an option when creating the lobby/game. "quick battles" - on/off simple as that.
I don't see why a pokemon mod, or DBZ mod would be bad o.o Sure you might not like those animes/cartoons, but the game cores are could be epic. Pokemon by itself has had almost the same formula for over 15 years now and people are still rushing out to buy the game all the time. pokemon mod - your soverign would be a pokemon trainer, he could roam around and pick up a total of 6 "pokemon" units ONLY and fight his way through gyms (villages) If anything this mod w
I ama fan of zombies since I can remember, so of course this is going to be my first construction when I get my hands on this game. Here are 2 versions I have come up with (with the current beta build) and wondering which one you all would prefer to play or be more plausable to make. -A countdown(in turns) until zombies start heading towards/attacking your base. You need to establish
easily a zombie survival one would be great. A countdown(in turns) until zombies start heading towards/attacking your base. You need to establish your town (base) including defenses, roam around and pick up any other survivors and weapons/items you can find to help you and then move on to the next town (level) OR Make it like a normal map but once a zombie, or group of zombies, sees you they will keep moving towards you until they can attack you, AKA eat your b
For the things you want input, here is my 2 cents. - Make the turns allowed before morale drops based on current armies in play. It its just your sov vs 1 spider, this should end within 5 turns easily. If its 20 vs 100 it may take a while. I think battles from "The king bounty" or the "Heroes of might and magic" and almost right ont he money of being not too long, but not too short. The other part of a tactical battle could be, while the battle is going on, the world is still
His last topic got locked, so it must have been answered already. As far as clan support,t his isn't halo... its really not a needed feature and I prefer to have something more suitable to the game.
So far (judging from current betas) I want these in an expansion. -Air battles/units -More factions (duh) -Wrap around maps (meaning no edges) -Dungeons (which I beleive are already in)
looking beautiful, even though I have only been following this game for a few weeks now, I am enjoying watching it grow into a great game.
I really need to get in on this BETA before it ends :(
I know what a Beta is, And it isn't like the game is going to get a huge overhaul and everything in it change, this is beta3 now, most likely just bug finding and minor tweaking. I like searching for bugs, I have done it for many years on many games.
I really want to try the game(to see if I should invest in it) but rather not commit to buy it right away. How about a competition or something for beta keys?[e digicons]^_^[/e]
