Thank you, I looked right at that and I guess it didn't register. Appreciate your time.

I'm very happy to announce that version .92 seems to have fixed the problem of my PC shutting off when trying to play this game.
I assume this is a bug because this makes tactical battles fairly easy. Are you supposed to be able to burn all of your mana on the first turn of tactical combat? On turn one I am able to cast my burn spell over and over again until I run out of mana.
There's a setting in the options for tactical battle thresholds. If you want to always be offered to fight or not, set it to 0 or 1, otherwise if fewer units than the threshold are involved in a fight, it will autoresolve. The default is 4 or 5.
I could not find this option on the options screen. I could be missing it I suppose but I feel I have been very thourough in checking the option available. Are you talk
Ok, I must not have seen the hut. Sometimes I have a hard time making out points of interest on the main map.
Unless I am understanding this incorrectly I thought that when you attack a mob on the map you are supposed to be given the choice whether or not you want the combat auto resolved or if you want tactical combat. What I experienced was totally random, sometimes it would auto resolve on it's own without asking me and sometimes I would be given the choice to auto or tactical that encounter.
After exploring for a while I encountered an area where there were 3 random mobs in one small area. I defeated them all and as I went to leave I saw another respawn. I defeated that one and the next turn another respawned. Don't know if this is what is supposed to happen but I could have sat there in one spot and just kept killing mobs over and over again.

You may wish to download a free temperature monitoring program (if one doesn't come with your motherboard) and check it out when under heavy load.
I do play many other games as well. I have not experienced my PC turning off during any other gaming experience. I have also, as
No one else has this issue? It's still doing this through the past two updates. My PC is rock solid, I have no problems with any other games. This game shuts my machine off within 5 minutes of starting it. I find it hard to believe that the response I got from Stardock is that my PC is bunk and it has nothing to do with their game. I'm supposed to start replaing parts in my PC in hopes this game eventually works? I can play WoW for 8 hours straight and with this game I can't even get past cha
I understand this however I play many other graphics intensive games and none of them turn off my computer.
Within 5 minutes of starting the game my PC shuts off.It doesn't shut down, it just shuts off. This has occurred in various menu screens as well as in game, all seemingly at random times. I checked for the error log zips in the "war of magic" directory but there are none...probably because my machine turns off. This has happened at least 8 times in full and windowed mode.
