In beta 5C the road building trait still does not appear on level up. (I tried hacking in 10mil xp till I picked up all available traits for a Mancer sovereign.) I think I did see it once on a non-recruited hero when I was playing an empire game.

War Horses and road building are pretty big things though. I usually play Mancer's for the road building.

Storm Giant summons a troll too. I thought they were just placekeepers for now.
Thats what the screenshot shows, although I have noticed that the resource based buildings show up a non-greyed even when they are out of range.
I just noticed that it only happens after a new turn. If you are super speedy (or have another character near where the hut appears) and get the hut the same it appears the land is not renewed.
It dies and you get no XP currently.
Its fixed in .803. In the turn you merge armies they drop to lowest, but at the beginning of a new turn the sovereign keeps his move.
On the wild goose chase quest each time the witches hut appeared it created revived land around it (3x3). The cloth map showed it as belonging to me. It allowed me to create a new city at no essence cost. (x3 if I'd had the cash/desire) My adventurer who completed the task also became invisible (and not able to clear FOW) after completing the task until I combined him with another army. (Entering and leaving a city did not bring him back.)&

If I give someone with several move an order that has them pass over an inn, they continue their move while the quest accept/reject dialog opens. Then when I say yes I will escort your noble they appear with the person where their move ended. (I had gathered many dex books on my sovereign so the noble started twice as far from the estate as normal since I was going the other way)
