translations always suck my friend :) be it games, movies or books(especially) the original is always much better.. no exceptions .. languages just arent that compatible + playing in english (if its not your native language) is a great way to improve it.. and English is the worlds most widespread language.. its the British fault :-D

Trust me! Impulse is the best... why: 1. you dont have to be online to play singleplayer or LAN... on steam when my net is down... i cant play 2. you can have the game on many computers... possible with steam but you can wipe your savegames.... 3. you have unlimited download ... for ever... or until impulse closes down... wont happen 4. it allows modding of game files.. steam does not! 5. buy a game from the store and you can register it

seanw3 I am in the same situation you are :) ..i rarely play games.. and i dont like the way they make them today... to simple.. not a lot of thought ... great graphics but thats a secondary trait ... and the industry treats it like a primary one :( its games like Elemental that grab me.. ihavent played FPS and RTS since forever... 6-7ye

I think that's your problem with Steam and why it keeps over-writing the files you change." yes on a new patch thats to be expected but steam does something else.. it checks on game startup if the files are what they are supposed to be and if they are not... it overwrites... and it cannot be disabled this

actually my first post .. that got me banned... was supposed to be exactly this... but i have a health problem... my blood pressure spikes to 180 and i cant think very well (if at all)... it was 180 when i wrote my first post :) + my English isn't very good now its 135 so i think you see the difference.... Hi ...i did research but there were a few questions i could not find a clear answer to... so.. when i purchase Elemental from Impulse.... 1. is there a download limit or something annoying as that? 2. after 20 years will i be able to download the game from there and play it? ... i hate cds/DVDs ... they break... max lifetime is 15 20 years ... if you are very lucky.. I think the point of digital download is that the game stays yours for life :) <
